Pj POV
Ma and dad still haven't come home yet. I wonder where they are. Grey texted me. I picked up my phone.
"Pj! He said yes!" The text said.
I gasped and couldn't help but cry. No! No no no no!
"I'm happy for you man." I texted back.
No! I don't want him to get married! No no no!
"Pj, what's wrong?" Quill asked.
"N-nothing! Why are you out of bed? It's late." I said.
They shrugged.
"I can't sleep."
I put them back to bed. Dad came home with ma wrapped in his hoodie. He had her lay in bed.
"Shhh Shh we'll talk in the morning. Go to sleep baby you look exhausted."
She was crying. I don't know why either.
Dad came back to me.
"Uh why are you still awake?" He asked.
"What's going on with ma? You haven't told us anything." I asked.
He sighed.
"Look I...I don't know yet...but I'm really worried about her. She ran away because she thought she was a burden to us- have I not been showing enough love to her?"
"No. Dad I think that it might just be that other people haven't shown enough love to her." I said.
