*step*
I step out onto the pavement where I am greeted by the driver. He takes my luggage from the trunk and places it beside me. I grab the handle and turn to the driver who is just about to leave.
"Thank you." I say delaying my arrival.
"It was my pleasure miss." He speaks getting into the car.
I hear the engine start and sigh knowing I can't turn back. I grab the handle of my luggage and tug it along the side walk. I don't quite know how I missed this before but, as I walk towards the school the building becomes clearer. It towers over me like a skyscraper! And the two buildings beside it are probably the campuses dorm rooms. Which I'm not to thrilled about.
I walk up the stairs of the main building feeling nervous, school was in session and I didn't feel like walking in awkwardly causing a scene. I reach my hand out for the handle but stop. I collect my thoughts and grab the handle, I open the door to an empty hallway. Relief floods over me and I begin to walk through the hallway. I dig my hand into my jacket pocket opening a piece of paper with a map of the school on it. My eyes scan over the page and finally find the little square on the sheet labeled "Main Office".
Through the winding, never ending hallways I walked until, what seemed like an eternity, I came to an end where I found a door with a fancy gold plaque type object which had the words main office carved into it.
But just as I was about to open the door someone from the inside turns the handle. The door opens and a tall, slim figured boy steps out. His crazy black hair and piercing red eyes capture my attention. His glance moves to me, his somewhat dull frown turns into a small smirk as he walks by me. Without a word he winks at me and I feel my face heat up. I look away instantly and pull my luggage into the room, making sure to close the door behind me just in case he decides to follow me with those eyes of his.
But, something about him makes me...uneasy. It's not his eyes or even his clothing choice but maybe...his pale...blue...skin.
