"Are you crying?" The familiar voice said, crouching beside me.
Marshal. Always showing up at the wrong moments.
"What did Flame Boy turn you down or something?" He continued asking.
Wiping away my tears I stood up, avoiding eye to eye contact.
"No...." I hesitated, trying to appear calm. "It's stupid. I just...scraped my knee..." I said quickly walking towards the door.
My hand reached out for the door handle almost reaching it when Marshal grabbed my wrist, and forced me against a wall. Reminding me of our encounter.
"You didn't scrape your knee," he said "I would've smelled you...sweet blood..." Marshal looked at my wrist hungrily and I grew impatient. "So why don't you tell me what happened? Or do I have to kiss you to get you to talk." He spoke looking back at me, his red eyes piercing through the darkness and peering into my mind.
"Answer me this. Who was that girl. With the white hair and pale blue sin like your own?" I said frustrated and annoyed now.
He chuckled and brought his face closer to mine, so close that our noses where just barely touching.
"An ex. But why do you care?! Don't tell me you were jealous?" He said slyly, a smirk appearing on his lips.
"Why come in here? I mean it looked like she was having a good time." I said changing the subject.
"Because I knew you were in here." He said without a single stutter.
My face grew hot and I could feel his breath on my neck. I didn't know what to say! This was the second day and he already was...
His grip on my wrist loosened but he didn't let go. A wrapped my hand around his and I felt his hand move to my cheek. What was I doing!? My body moved on its own and Marshals seemed to just know where to go. His lips pressed against my forehead, then moved down to my lips. My heart beat quickened and my eyes shut as if wanting to be surprised.
And surprised I was when the door flung open and the light fled into the room. My eyes snapped open and even Marshal seemed shocked. There stood...a purple...blob? It floated in the air and stared at us shocked. But then seemed to get excited and turned back to the party yelling "MARSHAL AND THE NEW GIRL, QUICK!"
Marshals grip once again tightened on my wrist and pulled me into the dark closet where we sat silently waiting for everyone to leave. "Nobody's in here LSP?" We heard as people looked around the room. "Nice joke seriously." "You must have drank to much or something because no ones in here? Or your just attention seeking again." "So not cool LSP so not cool." "But they were just in here i swear!" "Just quit it already." *sigh*.
The sound of footsteps retreated to the door, and the sound of the door echoed in the silence of the room. Both me and Marshal let out a sigh of relief, maybe? We sat in the darkness, totally silence, for quite a while. Exchanging glances at each other once and a while.
"I'm sorry about this morning." I said. "I am new and don't really know anyone so I guess I should have said thank you....so thanks." I spoke awkwardly.
He didn't respond. Just stood up, holding out a hand for me. I took it and stood up, getting out of the closet.
"But you seem to trust me." He said, smirking, then winking at me. Opening the door to the pounding music. Then shutting it behind him.
I soon exited after and eventually found Cake. Where she repeatedly asked where I was the whole time. I didn't tell her of course but I just made up something along the lines of "people". She introduced me to my boyfriend who was really quite handsome but didn't speak English so I couldn't understand him, but cake seemed to so it was alright.
The night ended with cake and I hiding in the bushes, once again, then hightailing it to the girls dormitory. Where I laid awake daydreaming about that Unexpected Encounter.
