November 25 2019 I decided to join the boys on tour after they left for their Australia tour. We celebrated Ocean's birthday earlier on November 5 because they had a little break in between tour.
So I flew with Ocean into Melbourne on the day of me, Ocean, and Corbyn's birthday. I had David pick me up and surprise them the next day. We were at the arena and I had Eben look after Ocean. The boys were already on stage. I started singing Happy Birthday into the mic and Corbyn looked shocked. He said "what are you doing here?" I told him "Well since it is our birthday, I decided to surprise you guys." I gave each a hug.
I was not gonna lie when I say that I might have feelings for Jack. After having Ocean, we had talked it out for the sake of Ocean and now we're good friends. I got off stage after surprising them and held Ocean while swaying to the beat. Ocean was giggling and pointing towards Jack. I heard something come out his mouth and I was so happy. I caught it on camera. He started to say dada. Eben looked shocked and grabbed Jack off stage. Ocean said dada to his face and he replied "yeah I'm your dad." He was tearing up and I was too.
When they finished the concert, all of us went back to the hotel. I didn't want to admit how I falling again for Jack and I knew he was still with Gabbie. I didn't want to be that person who interferes with someone's relationship. I decided to talk to Jonah about it. I knocked on his door and he yelled "come in. Hey Cass, what do you need?" I blurted out " I think I still have feelings for Jack but I don't want to ruin his relationship with Gabbie. I don't know what to do" When I said that, Jonah pulled me into a hug comforting me and he told me "Tell Jack, he deserves to know and he's Ocean's father. It might be hard but if he doesn't acknowledge then I'll be right here to comfort you."
I took Jonah's advice and went next door to Jack's. Jack opened up asking what did I need and I said "we need to talk." We sat on his bed and I confessed my feelings for him. I hated how complicated this was. Jack's reaction was to kiss me and when we did, it felt like fireworks on the 4th of July. I asked "what about Gabbie?" He replied "we broke up before the tour. We were not working out as we thought we were. I started to realize my love for you." Well we need to take it slow because we can't rush into this like we did in the past. We agreed that it was best to take it slow and it was already nighttime.
All of us went out to dinner and celebrated Corbyn, Ocean and I's birthday. We went back to hotel and I put Ocean to sleep. I haven't told the boys that I would be going on tour in 2020. The record label thought it would be a surprise to the fans if I released a song before December came and that's what happened.
