April 30, 2020 Cassie's POV Today was the day. The day I lost my fiance, my best friend, my first love. Jack and Ocean stayed in Florida as to Kristinp and his sisters were visting. I took the other car and drove to Fairfax with Ashley. I went back to visit Alex's grave.
I got out of the car. Mom was standing in the doorway. I ran to her and said "Mom!" While crying hysterically, Corbyn went and hugged me. I went to my room and pulled out my engagement ring that Alex gave me. I found his sweatshirt still hanging in the back of my closet.
I did the best thing there was for me to express my emotion. I wrote a song

I sent in the song and the recording with the help of Corbyn. A producer of Island Record luckily helped me mixed the song. With the approval of my two managers, Lori and Andrew, I was able to release the song today.
