Zarah's POV

I got up and ran to my room thinking 'What the hell do I do? How do I act? Why am I going to meet Zain's parents now?'

So many questions invaded my mind. There was one that rang louder than the rest.

What the hell do I even wear?

But as soon as I got into my room, that question was answered.

The most beautiful outfit I had ever seen was hanging on a portable rack in the middle of the room.

I took the quickest shower I had ever had and got ready. I put the dress on, did my makeup, did my scarf and found the perfect heels to go with my look.

Without even thinking, I went out of my room and began walking down the stairs like a model.

As I get to the bottom of the stairs, Catalina runs towards me to tell me what a good outfit I chose. Even then, I just kept looking at Zain and he looked back with a smirk.

I start blushing, remembering what happened this morning.

We all heard the doorbell ring and I started walking towards Zain, staring at my feet.

Zain walked over and opened the door. He was going to greet his parents but his mother put her hand on his shoulder and put her head around him. She was looking right at me.

"Who is this lovely girl behind you, Zain?" She said. He finally stepped aside and was just about to introduce me.

Before he could, I responded "Hi. My name is Zarah."

"That's a beautiful girl you got there Zain." his mum replied.

"Thanks." I state, taking the compliment.

"Uh...she knows Spanish too... " Zain said.

She then whispered in Zain's ear with a firm voice, "Better treat her well."

"I will mum."

The door opened again. A much larger, more muscled version of Zain had walked in.

Zain is still way hotter than that guy, I thought to myself.

I look at Zain subconsciously, and he looked so pissed off. His annoyance seemed directed towards the muscle-man.

"Hello brother. How is work?" His eyes dropped on me. I quickly put my head down and I noticed Zain's arm about to snake around my waist. I took a small step, enough to get out of his reach. I saw his 'brother' smirking at what I had done. I felt so bad, just noticing how it would have looked to him, so I just walked to the kitchen to help the girls with the cooking.

I helped out with the main dish mostly and we laughed and talked about almost everything. Luckily for me, this took my mind off from the earlier situation. I wanted to wash up before eating so I walked up the stairs to my room. On the way there, I felt someone was following me so I turned around and saw Zain's 'brother'.

He slowly walked towards me with a menacing look on his face. I had no idea what to think or do, but he was frightening me. I could feel myself take small steps backwards to get away from him. This kept going until I hit the wall. I decided to keep a straight face, since I didn't know what he was like. He chuckled in a supposedly 'friendly' way and put his hands on the wall next to my head, caging me. I ducked under his right arm and while i was walking away, I heard him say, "My name is-"

"I don't care." I cut him off and got out of there, staring at the ground.

I felt a familiar aura and looked up. It was Zain. I was so grateful. I continued staring at him while I was walking towards him with a big goofy smile on my face. He stared right through me and didn't even acknowledge the fact that I was showing how happy I was to see him. Not even a side glance. After that, all I could think was, what did I do wrong?

Zain POV

I just could not look at Zarah any longer. She acts like I can't touch her, but that son of a bitch can. I saw what happened in the hallway. I saw his arms lock her to the wall. I saw the smug look on her face. That was all I needed to see to know that she is a lying bitch.

I went to the dinner table and sat down. Zarah followed me and sat right next to me. As if I could not be any more annoyed.

Then, she whispered, "What's wrong?...Did I do something wrong?"

I didn't respond and just continued to eat my food.

She just sat there for the entire meal, quiet and wounded, still wondering what she did wrong. She knows perfectly well what she did.

Afterwards, we all went to our separate rooms, including me and Zarah, not saying a word to each other, her not saying a word at all.
