Zarah's POV

Zain led me through a long and empty hallway, and down a few stairs before stopping in front of a pink door. I looked around the hallway and only saw two other doors on the opposite wall. One was black and one was brown.I looked back at Zain and saw that he was staring at me. He didn't look like he was moving so I snapped my fingers in his face. He seemed shocked and a little startled. He cleared his throat and awkwardly said, "This is your room. Mine is the brown door just across the hall if you need anything."

"Okay." I replied.

I got into the room and just before he left, he said, "I will knock before I walk in and my sister will come and help you with anything you need." I was so surprised at what he just said that I didn't realise I was staring.

I snapped back into my senses and said, "Okay, thanks."

I turned around to avoid any more embarrassment and walked into the room. I looked around and it was huge. It had its own bathroom, a balcony, a walk in cupboard and a table in the middle of the room. It was amazing.

But all of a sudden, I realised that I can't go to work tomorrow.

I checked all my pockets and found my phone in my front left pocket of my sweatpants. I called the principle to tell her that I couldn't make it tomorrow and she understood straight away, without any further questions. She ended the call and I went to the balcony. I tried to look for a way to get down without injuring myself and realised I was only one storey high. There was grass at the bottom as well. So without thinking about it any further, I jumped down and started running as fast as I could, but I didn't get far before I got caught by one of the bodyguards surrounding the house. It turned out that I was now being dragged by the same gorilla-man as before. He was taking me back to my room and when I got there, I started to cry.

After a few minutes I heard a light knock and a woman that looked almost exactly like Zain walked in. I'm guessing that this was his sister. I quickly wiped my eyes and she said, "Hey, it's okay. I won't let them do anything to harm you. My name is Catalina Gonzales. What's yours?"

"Zarah. What exactly can you do to stop them from hurting me?"

"Well, Zarah, I have my big brother wrapped around my finger." she said with a playful smirk. I couldn't help but chuckle. "These are your clothes for now, but you and I can go shopping tomorrow, okay?"

"Yeah, okay...And thanks, Catalina." I had a feeling that we would become best friends one day.

"No worries. See you tomorrow." She replied. She then walked out and shut the door behind her. I got into the shower to wash myself off and put on the clothes Catalina gave me. I walked into the huge walk-in wardrobe to find something that I could cover up with, so I can do my night prayers. After that I got under the covers of the bed. It felt so unusual to be sleeping in a bed that is not my own. I couldn't sleep. After a few minutes, I heard a knock on the door.

"Who is it?" I asked.

"It's Zain. Can I come in?"

"NO!" I yelled.

"Okay fine, but we are talking tomorrow."

"Yeah, fine, whatever." I replied. By the time I fell asleep, it was midnight. It had only been one day and I was already homesick. But I couldn't show it.

I woke up at five in the morning, just like every morning, and I started to pray. During my prayers, I heard a knock on the door, but I couldn't reply so whoever it was just walked right in.
