Chapter 2

Your POV
I woke up and it was 4:13 so I decided to walk around and scan the area. I felt like this place was familiar but I ignored that feeling because it was impossible because you have never been here before. As you walk into a parking lot the feeling gets stronger. As you look at a Tesla you see some one coming out of it. Then you realize where you are. You see the man that got out of the Tesla start walking towards you.

"Hey, what are you doing here," the man said. I didn't know what to say. "Uh..." before I knew it my eyes started watering up. "Hey hey it ok let me take you inside, and uh I'm Matthias," he said in a calm voice that made me feel safe. I walked into orange base and up the stairs. I had so many mixed emotions at this moment. I sat on the couch and Matt having one arm around me to let me know he is there.

We sat there for a little bit in comfortable silence. "What is your name?" Matt asked. (I realized did not mention her name so her name is Charlotte)"I'm Charlotte," I said in a quiet voice. "Ok Charlotte do you mine if I call you char." I nodded. "How old are you," " I'm 13 years old." I answered. "Ok, do you think your ready to-" "Hey guys, uh who is this" I heard a voice that I recognized as Connor. I look up to see Connor and Tanner standing next to each other but there was another person there but I did not care to find out who.

"This is Charlotte or Char." Matt stated. "Ok, what is she doing here then?" Tanner asked. "I was trying to figure that out before you guys came in." Matt exclaimed. "Ok well then Connor and I have a meeting to get to so talk later.

"Paul what are you doing?" I instantly looked up and locked eyes with Paul. "Uh I got all of my work done so I thought I would see you," he started," obviously you're doing something so I will just go." "No no Paul you can stay." Matt said. He walked over to the chairs across the table and sat down. "So to answer my question, what are you doing here?"

Paul's POV
I was walking up the stairs to red base to talk with Matt with Tanner  and Connor. I had nothing to do because I got all of my work done before lunch. Connor and Tanner had a meeting to do, so we thought were going to stop and see Matt.

We walked in and I heard Connor ask, "Hey guys, uh who is this?" I noticed there was a young girl who looked like she has been crying. I felt so bad, I knew something was wrong I just didn't know what. I wanted to help her some how some way. I noticed that Tanner and Connor left for their meeting. "Paul what are y I doing?" Matt asked I looked at the Char and made eye contact with her. "Uh I got all of my work done so I thought I would see you" I said. I suggested I go but Matt demanded me to say.

I sat on the couch and Matt asked Char, "so to answer my question, what are you doing here?"
