Night Walk 💫

Abhishek's viewpoint :

"Good night Abhay." Anushree greeted me and I walked out of her room after that.

She's leaving in the afternoon tomorrow and I'm gonna miss her a lot. She has been with us since the last few days and has merged in our squad really well. Even the other boys are gonna miss her.

Which reminds me, I need to talk to Shubman regarding meeting Rahul sir tomorrow. He wants to meet both of us before our flight to Bangalore to talk about something important.

I should discuss the timing for meeting him with Shubman and we should even talk to Rahul sir once.

I was making my way to the elevator when I heard a girl singing in the corridor.

I was about to look up when someone bumped into me.

"Shit I'm so sorry- Abhay!" The girl exclaimed on seeing me. Oh, its Riya again.

She had an oversized hoodie on that covered up till her mid thigh with space buns as hairstyle and airpods on.

"Sorry I was just-" She was cut off by me.

"Dancing in the corridor." I laughed while she took off her airpods.

"Uh.." She trailed it off with embarrassment.

"Its okay, I do that too. Not like I dance in the corridor though, in my room." I laughed making her comfortable.

"And in the shower?" She questioned giggling.

"Yeah, at times." I admitted with a slight giggle.

"I knew it. You're just like me!" She exclaimed. She's really great until she gets hyperactive and starts acting crazy.

"I got it, I'll try to stay calm." She added looking at my expressions and we just shrugged it off with a laugh.

"Do you know you're actually a great company until you get insane?" I questioned her with humour in my voice.

"I'm a great company anyway." She flipped her hair and not lying, I had my mind blown away.

"Of course." I rolled my eyes with a laugh.

"Anyway, I owe you an apology. Can I fix it up?" Riya questioned me.

"Its okay, you need not." I told her.

"Just a night walk along with ice cream? All on me." She smiled and I couldn't refuse that.

"Sure." I smiled back.

We went down using the elevator and got out of the hotel.

"Which one do you like?" Riya questioned me while we were in the ice cream parlour, looking for our favourite flavours.

"Cookies and creme." I answered.

She took a butterscotch ice cream for herself and then we went out of the place.

"Riya, I've a question." I said to Riya while we were walking in the lanes with the cool breeze flowing.

"What is it?" She asked back while gulping her ice cream.

"Why do you act crazy whenever you see me or there's any talk related to me?" I questioned with curiosity.

"Look Abhay, I've liked you for years. I'm an ordinary girl and I've always dreamt of meeting you, talking to you, being able to feel you beside me and even marrying you." She started on a serious note but giggled in the end.
