Shubman's viewpoint :

My eyes cracked open early morning, hurting from the intensity of crying last night.

I looked around for Anushree, only to find Ishan sleeping beside me. I'm used to sleeping with Anushree inside my arms and not seeing her here is making my heart ache.

Everything around me is reminding me of her, making me miss her presence so much. Even if try my best, I can never forget her. She's my first love.

I took her for granted. I never realised I'm hurting her because she never expressed her disappointment in me. I was such a fool to never realise my mistakes.

While being lost in my thoughts, I heard the doorbell ring. Is Anushree back?!

I excitedly ran towards the gate and opened it to see Riya standing at the door.

"Are you okay?" She asked me while caressing my hair with a sympathetic look on her face.

"Is Anu okay?" I asked in response with sad eyes.

Riya just shook her head in a no before I led her in.

"Her bags.. they're still here I think. She needs them." Riya said hesitantly.

She needs her belongings? Is she really not returning?

"Please don't do this." I requested on the verge of tears.

"Shub it's her decision, I can't do anything." Riya sighed.

"I'll always keep her happy." I promised with a wrenching heart.

"I know Shubman, but it'll take some time for her to think about this." She said in a low voice.

I was about to reply when Ishan came out in the living room.

"Good morning Riya." He greeted.

"Morning Ishan." She replied with a pressed smile on her face.

"Tum yahan abhi, koi important kaam hai?" Ishan questioned her.

"Haa, main Anushree ke bags lene aayi thi." She answered.

"Oh." Ishan mumbled and brought the travel bags from the other bedroom.

He then carried it outside and went along with Riya to hand them to Anushree.

"Hi Shubman, good morning." Samikhya greeted me after coming out of the bedroom.

"Hi." I mumbled.

Seeing her wear Anushree's clothes almost made me misjudge her for a few seconds. I actually thought its Anushree standing here in front of me, but to my disappointment, that's not true. Ugh, I miss her so damn much.

"Don't be sad, come let's make breakfast." Samikhya said on noticing my expressions, before holding my hand and took us to the kitchen.

Every corner of our home reminds me of Anushree. The times I used to disturb her with my kisses when she cooked for us, cleaning the utensils and the island along with her, eating together were so precious. I'm missing it so much now.

"What's all this? I don't even know how to cook." Samikhya's eyes widened on seeing the ingredients and kitchen tools in our drawers and on glass slabs.

"I don't either." I replied.

"Do you have maggi? I can make that." Samikhya giggled, making me giggle slightly too.

"Hoga, par pata nahi kahan." I answered.

"Tum shelves mein dhundho, main drawers check karti hu." She said and I nodded.
