Everyone in the room was chatting up a storm and looking at their phones while sitting in there desk. I didn't care to talk to anyone so I was just looking out of the window staring at the bright blue sky. I couldn't help but feel as though I would rather be doing almost anything rather than sitting inside today. The teacher then went to the front of the room and the class quickly got quite and put there phones away.

"Okay class, we're going to be finishing up our presentations over the world-changing events," she said before looking at the list in her hand, "So ... we only have one more student going today?" A wave of confirmation in various forms erupted as she asked.

"Okay then, Zoey, please come up and present if you're ready." "Yes ma'am," the nerdy girl with glasses said as she walked to the front of the room.

"Can I start?"

"Yes please." She pulled up her PowerPoint and I turned to look back outside the window.

"What many of you may not know is that twenty years ago there was no one with powers at all. Everyone was just normal. No magic, no qi, people with powers, or that weren't human. Then out of nowhere a strange purple light engulfed the sky across the world. That event would later be known as the Purple-flare, a Solar-flare that released low levels of radiation but high levels of the unworldly, invisible to the naked eye, a purple substance which changed the genetics of certain people all over the world, people such as Drake Eldrid, also known as Dragon, the first super-villain. He was among the first group of power to be known. As he went and quickly became public enemy number one the first hero was getting ready to face him. Saber, a mage whose practice was rejected by society, defeated him with his enchanted blade. The same enchantment can be found on many other weapons today. The long intense fight ended with Saber winning but both where arrested. Soon after many others with powers started to appear and many heroes have come to be since that time. Such as dagger, an individual with cat ears and a tail. Along with powered heroes, some heroes don't have powers, they are also seen as criminals though, due to our strict rules on individualism. Now, are there any questions?" Many hands went up but not mine. The last thing I needed was a reminder of what was wrong with me.

"So why are there so many werewolves if it didn't affect a lot of people?" The girl that was still in front of the class looked puzzled, after a while the teacher stepped in.

"Well, there are other ways to get powers aside from the conventional ones. Illegal surgeries and illegal magic are just two ways but werewolves can turn you if they bite you. So when one of the most dangerous gang bosses got that power we ended up with the problems we have today." Suddenly the door opened and in came the principle with a kid almost as tall as me, with dark brown skin and shaggy white hair. The class fell silent at the sight of him. The sight of the two small horns coming from the top of his head, the pointed ears, the red eyes hidden mostly by the hair, and the small fluffy goat tail.

"I'm sorry to disturb your class but we have a new student, try not to run him off," the principal said jokingly before running off to do something around the school he tended to be very busy. The entire class started mumbling, some girls saying he was cute, other people saying how disgusting they thought his very existence was, some mumbling of curiosity or thinking he seemed cool, but most of which we're thinking of ways to mess with him. I could hear every last one of them no matter how quiet they were and I knew he could as well the moment I saw his ears slightly twitch.

"That must be tough, not being able to hide your powers, if you can even call it that," I thought.

"Well Sir what's your name?" the teacher asked.

"William Johnson," the boy said.

"Okay, then Mr. Johnson could you please take a seat wherever you want." The boy scanned the room before he started walking to the desk behind mine. He sat down and adjusted his tail so it was comfortable in the chair. We then went back to class and I just stared out the window. As I was watching a squirrel run up a tree I heard a rustling of paper. I looked at my desk to see a note. I opened it up to see that it was from the new kid.

"Hey do you know who Caleb is?" it read.

"Yeah, why?" I then passed it back.

"I was told to talk to him by, well, everyone."

"Well you're passing notes to him now and yeah I was told you'd becoming."

"Oh, that's great, to be honest, though I didn't think you'd be a werewolf." I froze immediately from a stone-cold horror shooting up my spine the moment I read that. There was absolutely no way he could've known what I was. I made sure nobody knew at all. I was flawless in hiding. How'd he know and how many others knew as well. No matter what, I knew that one way or another, this would change my life forever.
