STEP 3: DRIVE OFF TO WASHINGTON WITHOUT BEINF CAUGHT; IN PROGRESS

The tour bus slowly pulled up into a more secluded area of the Taco Bell parking lot, to avoid being seen. The rumbling of the engine slowly died down, as Ruby got up from her seat and did a small stretch.

Feeling a small crick in her back, she let out a small satisfied smile before turning her gaze over to Dylan and Braeden, who seemed to be looking at her expectantly. Instantly realising what they were thinking, a small frown settled in place.

"Sorry but we can't untie you. That would be too risky. You might try to run away." Ruby stated as a matter of factly , before watching both their faces drop, as she snickered slightly.
As if she hadn't seen that coming.

"But these tape-bindings are so uncomfortable. If you're going to keep us hostage, at least use handcuffs or something!!" Braeden whined, which earned a small groan from the unconscious Cole who seemed to be gaining his consciousness back.

"Braeden shut the hell up." Cole moaned out as he slowly brought his head up, his eyes squinted as they tried to adjust to the light. His head was pounding, as he had taken quite the hit.

The sound of shuffling footsteps were heard, as Rik walked over to where they all were gathered. She stifled a small yawn before she laid down on the seat right next to Dylan, taking up the last few remaining seats.

"Please change the duct tape it really hurts and I can't even itch my hand." Braeden whined again which caused Gabbie to let out an irritated huff. She ignored his whining, as she reached into her duffel bag, and pulled out her froggy wallet.

"Fuck it, we're all getting burritos because I said so and because I'm spending my money." She proclaimed, as her leg bounced nervously. Not surprisingly, only Braeden let out a small huff at her statement.

"Can I go? All that driving made my legs numb. And I want a breath of a fresh air." Rik slowly raised her hand, as she raised her eyebrows. Stifling a yawn, she slowly got up from the couch, stretching her limbs momentarily before swiftly grabbing Gabbie's wallet from her hands.

Giving Gabbie a sheepish smile, she shrugged. "I'll pay you back later, I'm lazy to grab my own wallet." She added in slightly before slowly walking over to the front of the bus.

"Ruby, go with-"

"Um actually...this is awkward but I really have to go pee."

Rik stopped in her tracks, and turned on her heel to see it was no other than Braeden. He looked a little flustered for just mentioning going to the toilet, but she just shrugged it off.

"But there's a toilet in this bus. Just go to that one." Ruby scoffed as she crossed her hands and sat down back in her old spot.

"The toilet there's clogged. Just let me go to the restroom please, it's really urgent." He pleaded, almost tearfully as Rik did a small face palm and rolled her eyes.

Her eyes looked over at Gabbie, who seemed to avoiding Braeden's gaze, and her cheeks seemed to flushed pink. At this, she slightly raised her eyebrow, before looking over at Ruby, who was ready to retort back.

"Fine. He'll just continue whining if we don't him out. Ruby can you check if there's something else we can use temporarily instead of this duct-tape?" She asked, as Ruby reached down to the drawers under the seats.

After scuffling for a few minutes, Ruby managed to find a long silk ribbon, which she deemed good enough. She shuffled over to Braeden before slowly undoing the duct-tape that she had used.

The whole time she was tying the silk ribbon around Braeden's hands, she kept an eye on his back, in case he tried to make a run for it. A slight feeling of discomfort wiggled around in her stomach, as she finally tied the knot firmly.
