Thanks for reading and voting on what we have so far, it means a lot! ❤️

There seemed to be no way of paying attention to Beverly's studying.
She occasionally asked for help with her studies, hoping the demon and the angel would come of at least some help, but to no avail.

Why are they here?
Did I do something? Was it good or bad?

"Eddie-spaghetti, may I?" The raven-haired demon said, fluttering his small, nearly invisible bat-like wings.

"I told you not to call me that. Y'know how much it bothers me?" The angel replied, shifting away from Beverly and keeping his uncensored glare on Richie.

Richie only smiled as Beverly silently watched him lean over Beverly and beginning to braid it into a crown around her head.

"Where'd you learn to do that, Tozier?" Eddie said, watching the demon with a surprisingly child-like gaze.

"I have my ways. Anyway, Beverly what use is there to studying?" Richie said. "Who even needs to pass that class?"

That's when the angel broke in.
"Don't listen to him, Bev." He said, putting his gentle hand on the shoulder opposite to Richie's.
"You know that having good grades will definitely be part of getting into college. Unless," Eddie shot a glance at Richie without finishing his sentence.

Beverly's gaze flicked between the two.
How are they able to talk about this seriously yet only be a distraction?

"Uh.. I have to focus. Maybe you could.. I don't know— quiet down a bit?" Beverly said, the beginnings of an embarrassed smile upturning the edges of her lips.

"Quiet down? I should start telling that to Eddie's mom when I go to her room." Richie snickered, earning another glare from Eddie as the devil finished the braid crown.

Richie sat up and Beverly felt his body shift toward Eddie's direction as she struggled to write down as many notes as she could from the book.

"Can I give you a braid crown?" Richie said, his voice eerily serene.

"Only if you teach me."
"Maybe I could teach you more than just-"
"Or, y'know, you could shut up for Gaia's sake instead of showing me."
"Okay, okay! I'll teach you, Ed's."

Beverly wanted to let out the loudest groan, but she kept the irritation to herself. If she could just focus, maybe it would go by a lot faster than it seemed to be at that moment.

"Hey, Bev?" Richie said behind her.
"Oh, yeah?" She turned toward him, curling an orange tuft of hair away from her face to see Eddie not even paying attention to the braid that Richie made, his legs wrapped around Eddie's.
"Wanna go shoplift?"
