For the past few days all I have been doing is sleeping, getting up, showering and getting back into bed. The information overload had been too much for me. What was going on with my family? An uncle I never knew of, my fellow sister under-casting and the best of all, I have no idea what she was casting. Sam hasn't been over in these past few days either and I don't blame him. I am pretty much a robot at this point, my limbs just following the commands of a daily set routine.
Kane came in every now and then to try and chat to me but I just looked at him and looked away, it came to light that even though he was a nurse he was also a therapist so I guess he went hand in hand with my care. Today was just another day to me but something shifted in the air and I knew something was coming but did I care? Not really.
''Adria you need to eat something other than just dinner'' Kane said while supressing his frustration with my defiance to want to do anything
I just sighed and looked back up at the ceiling
''You want people do believe you are not crazy yet here you lay, catatonic to the world around you'' he paced back and forth ''you think this is my first time dealing with someone who suggests that they were possessed? You think I take joy in getting nothing from you? Adria you need to snap out of whatever this is'' he motioned with his hands flying in the air ''you are better than this and you need to see that or else you will become your own worst enemy''
''Kane you know nothing'' I said whilst sitting up ''you think by you checking in on me every day I owe you something other than this?"
He shook his head and placed his hand on his hip "listen to me, I know this seems like the hardest part of your life but healing takes time"
Just as he said that, the lights in the room flickered and the air became slick with smoke. The fire alarms went off and the sprinkler system turned itself on
Kane looked at me with fear in his eyes and then they shone a blue hue. He is Michael or a vessel at least.
"Adria" he smiled and then he disappeared in the blink of an eye. I felt alone, frightened and faint. I cannot be awake, I cannot be, I don't remember dosing off again.
I heard footsteps towards my room, the closer they came the heavier and louder they grew.
"Adria" I heard his voice whilst chains rattled against my door "oh Adria"
I heard him smell the air and lean forward the crack in my door, his smirk reaching the door and his teeth beamed.
"I sent that angel of yours on a wild goose chase whilst I make quick work of you" he walked in casually and cocked his head one side as he looked at me "and I brought help"
I didn't even see ghosts around me and they held me down against the bed. Their blood dripping onto my face and running past my lips.
"just say his name" they all chanted over and over, literally trying to drive me crazy. What was I going to do?
I felt his finger like claw run against my stomach before he pierced it, the pain shot through me and I felt my blood pour out and pooling around my abdomen area.
"say it dammit!" he demanded again "or else it will get worse" he threatened as he left cuts along my arms
I refused, shaking my head back and forth whilst the ghosts started burning the parts of my body with their hands. Shit, this isn't going to end until I say it, until I do it.
"PURSON!" I screeched at the top of my lungs as he dug is claws into my skull. The ghosts disappeared and he smiled down at me
"that's all I needed" and he disappeared again. The room was clear, there was no sounds from any alarms, no wetness from the sprinklers and no blood from my body.
My eyes rolled back and I fell into a hole in my mind, the gates covering the hole closed and Purson stood at the top
"my dear" he started "I never left and you never experienced anything, this is your hell" he came closer to the bars "I am your hell"
The End.
