Martina:
My father and Killian looked at me like they had seen a ghost. I could see they didn't expect me to be home already. I didn't expect to ever see Killian again, not after... I didn't plan for Killian to show up here again, not after he opened his heart to me, and I broke it. When things ended between Kol and me, I was broken and wanted to die because it hurt that much. I was lost for a long time; A few months after it ended, I colored my hair rose gold or pink as some people would say. I started to drink, take drugs, getting into fights with my father, and began to work as a prostitute. Around seven months later, I met Kill, and I hated him from the first meeting. But with time he put some of the many pieces of my heart together again, b,x,xz <xut that one day he told me he loved me and tried to kiss me, was the last time I saw him. I wanted to forget all about Kol, and everything I had felt and still did, but when Kill tried to kiss me that day, I just couldn't. I couldn't breathe, my body started to shake, and I was sure I would faint. Killian left town that day, and he never looked back. Well, that was until now.
''Why are you home so early, honey?''
''I haven't been on work, that's why. Do you don't want me to be home, is that it? Because I can leave...''
''I didn't mean it like that, Martina, I'm just surprised over even seeing you home after everything.''
''What is going on here, anyway?''
''Killian was in town and wanted to catch up.''
Bullshit. It was bullshit, and my father knows that I know it. The last thing Kill said to me was '' I understand. I promise to leave you alone, and never come back mon amour.'', mon amour means ''my love'' in french, and Kill had always called me that. I start to get annoyed over all the games and lies my father is letting out lately, what the hell is wrong with telling the truth those days?! Killian looks down in the floor, he seems distant and then not. He won't look me in the eyes, but I keep trying to get eye contact with him, but he never looks up. Something must be wrong, terribly wrong. Killian wouldn't be here otherwise.
''We both know that's bullshit, dad. Who's going to tell me what the hell is going on here?''
My father looks down but sad. Killian looks up and directly in my eyes with a stone-cold expression, he looks like he's looking after the right words to say. I would give anything to get to know what Killian is thinking right now, and I don't know how I even feel about seeing him again. It's not like I became heartbroken when he left, but I must admit it hurt. I thought he was my friend, but I was deeply wrong about that.
''I will leave the two of you alone to talk.''
''Where are you going, dad?''
''I have some things I need to take care of, and I will be home in a few hours. Don't wait up, Tini.''
''No, I wanted to talk with you.''
''And it can't wait? You have a visitor.''
''Fine.''
