Best Mistake {Brad Simpson Fanfic}

Chapter One

*Beep beep beep.*
I reach up and swipe my phone screen to turn off my alarm. It's 6am and a Monday, not exactly my favourite time of the week. 5 more minutes...

"Cara get up!"

I jump up quickly and rub my eyes remembering that I was supposed to get out of bed before.

"Do you know what time it is? Cara don't just lie there it's 7:15 and your bus will be here in 15 minutes."

There's a reason why I set my alarm so early, it takes me more than 15 minutes to get ready for school.

"Right.. Yeah, alright I'm up." I say getting out of bed walking past my mother to the bathroom. I tie my hair up in a high ponytail and jump into the shower. There's no way I'm making it to the bus in time. I get out as quickly as I get in, dry myself and get dressed in my school uniform. I put my foundation on and a bit of mascara as quickly as I could. Luckily, I'm having an alright skin day and my skin is pretty clear. I pull my hair out again and brush it. I can hear it raining outside so I think I'll keep it up in a ponytail for today, thanks Birmingham weather.

I race downstairs to see my mum sitting at the kitchen table.

"Time?" I ask her.

"8 o'clock, Cara." She says with a grumpy attitude.

"Can you drive me?"

"Do I have a choice?" She replies.

"Eh no it's fine, I'll stay home today and I'll just become a garbage truck driver when I'm older." I say walking around the kitchen table smirking.

"Get in the car, but I need to drop off Kayla first." Kayla is my 11 year old sister.

I grin and grab an apple on my way out. Who needs breakfast anyway.

"Love you," I say as I get out of the car.

I'm not looking forward to today at all, let's just say it starts with a shit timetable and my best friend Abbey isn't here. In fact she's not even in the country. She's currently vacationing in Bali with her family and won't be back until tomorrow night. where I'll be picking her up at the airport. The reason for that is her parents won't be back until next week.

The bell goes and I walk to my first class, this is going to be a long day.

Wheew first chapter. Really hope you guys are enjoying it so far :) it's not that exciting yet, it's pretty much just an opening chapter so you can be filled in on Cara and her family. I'll include Brad either in the next chapter or the chapter after that, not long now, I have plans. Thanks for reading X
