Wendy and I walked out of the school, it was the end of the day after all.

"Romeo! Wendy!" I heard Chelia yell our names. She ran up to us. "Can I come over today? Since I couldn't yesterday?"

"Well, I was just about to walk Wendy home.. so.." I lied.

"Oh no worries! Wendy can come with us!" Chelia grabbed Wendy's wrist and dragged her along the path to my house. I followed not far behind.

We arrived at my house. My dad's car wasn't here which means neither is he.

We all walked inside the house.

Shoot! I forgot. I haven't thrown away the box in my room yet. "Let's watch something in the living room." I told them. Chelia and Wendy both nodded and sat on the couch.

I handed Chelia the remote. "I'm going to go to the bathroom." I stated, walking up the stairs.

I entered my room and quickly got all of the box pieces. But where do I put it? Chelia will see me if I go down the stairs.

I'll put them in my dad's room for now. I entered my dads room, it had a bathroom in it so that's where I put the pieces.

I went back downstairs, trying not to look suspicious.

"Oh hey, Romeo!" Chelia waved.

I waved back. "Do you want anything to eat?"

She hummed, putting her finger to her chin. "Can I have an otter pop?"

"Sure." I reached into the freezer and got her a blue otter pop and myself a green. But what should I get Wendy? I'll just get her pink.

I walked over to the couch and handing them their otter pops.

"Thanks Romeo." Wendy told me.

"Yea." Chelia agreed with her.

We sat on the couch and watched anything that came on for a little bit. "Ugh, this is so boring. Don't you have anything else we can do here?" Chelia asked.

I shrugged, not knowing how do respond.

"I'm going to take a nap." Chelia went up the stairs. Leaving Wendy and I on our own.

"Romeo?"

"Yea?"

"Would you like me to continue acting?"

"Yea. Just act how any teenager would."

"I don't know much about how teenagers act, Romeo."

"Then study them when we go to school tomorrow." I simply told her. Wendy nodded in in response.

"What do we do now?"

I began to get annoyed. "Anything, stop asking me questions. Go to sleep or something."

Wendy nodded. She laid down on the couch and fell asleep. Well, that was quick.

I walked upstairs into my room to find Chelia sleeping. I lightly shook her waking her up. "You should go home. It's already eight."

"Wow, I slept for a long time." Chelia got up and I followed her downstairs. "Oh Wendy fell asleep." She whispered.

"Yea, would you like me to walk you home?"

"No thanks, I don't want to wake up Wendy."

"Are you sure? I was going to wake her up anyway."

"Yep! Just let her sleep for a little. Okay, bye Romeo!" She waved leaving my house.

I waited till she turned the corner then went back inside. My dad has just pulled up into the driveway.

I quickly picked up Wendy and brought her into my room. She's safer here from my disgusting dad.

"Romeo! I'm back! Where are you?"

I didn't respond, locking my door in the process. I don't want him coming in here. I turned around to walk back to my bed, jumping when I saw Wendy sitting up. "You scared me."

She didn't respond but I just shrugged it off.

"Do you want to watch something while we do homework? So it won't be boring.."

Wendy nodded.

I turned on the television then grabbed our backpacks. "Here you go." I handed Wendy her bag and took a seat on the bed next to her. "You can ask me questions if you need any help." Not that I'd be of any help.

We worked in silence as the Tv played.

I woke up. I must've fallen asleep while doing homework. Wendy was asleep next to me.

I got up out of bed and changed for school. After changing I woke Wendy up. "Did you charge up enough?" I asked her.

She sat up yawning. "I'm only charged up halfway. I can still go to school."

"That's okay, just go back to sleep, I'll come get you during lunch." I told her.

Wendy nodded then laid back down.

I grabbed the key to my room and locked it for the outside. Just in case.

After leaving the house I walked to Chelia's place. I woke up earlier today, so she won't be at school.

I rang the doorbell. Her mother answered. "Oh, hello there Romeo! Chelia's in her room." She let me in.

I nodded and walked up the stairs. I knocked on the door. "Chelia can I come in?"

"Yea." She quietly responded to me."

I walked in. "I'm surprised your actually up."

"Yea, I couldn't sleep."

"Then why don't you just stay home today?"

"I don't know.. I wanted to go to school today. And hang out with.... you!" She smiled looking up at me.

My face heated up. "Well lets go then." I left Chelia's your room and she followed me. "Are you going to eat?"

"Yea, do you want something?"

"Whatever you have I'll have."

Chelia nodded then grabbed two pieces of sourdough bread and put them in the toaster. They popped up and Chelia buttered them both then handed one to me.

"Thanks." I took the piece of toast and slowly ate it as we walked to school.

As we were walking Chelia asked me a question. "Do you know where Wendy lives?"

I thought before answering. "Well, I walked her home, but I don't remember exactly where she lives."

"Then, do you at least have her phone number?"

Shoot! I forgot to get her a phone. "No, sorry."

"So you really haven't asked Wendy any of this? Wow.."

"You haven't asked her either though..." I looked away.

"Well, you're right.." Chelia paused before continuing. "I hope she comes today."
