Well that's not going to happen..

"Yea me too." I responded.

We made our way to the classroom and sat down in our seats.

Chelia sighed. "Aw man, Wendy's not here."

"It's fine. When she comes tomorrow we can hang out with her."

"Yea. We can just go to her house after school."

Huh? What does she mean? I looked at her in confusion.

"Oh, I'll just go ask the front office." She said nonchalantly.

"They won't just give you her address. You know that, right?"

"Hmm..." Chelia thought. "You're right.." Phew. That was close.

During lunch, I snuck out of school and went back home.

When I arrived, I walked inside the house and went upstairs to my room. I unlocked the door and walked in.

Wendy's eyes lit up when I entered the room. "Are you charged?" I asked her.

"Yes, Romeo. I am charged to one hundred percent." She smiled at me, getting off of the bed and walking toward me.

"Okay we have to stop by the store and get you a phone. Chelia will ask about it.."

"Okay."

We quickly left my house and got Wendy a phone. Then walked back to school.

"Your phone number is this." I pointed to the phone. "Memorize it, okay?"

"Okay Romeo." She put the phone in her pocket when we arrived at school. We had a couple minutes left before school started so we went to go find Chelia. She's probably on the roof, where we sit every day.

Before we could get there I was pulled away by Chelia? "Can I speak with you? Alone."

"Oh, Chelia?" Wendy asked her before she left.

"Yea?"

"Here's my phone number." Wendy showed Chelia her phone.

Chelia types in the number then puts her phone away. "Thanks Wendy! I'll text you." She turned to look at me. "Okay lets go Romeo."

"Okay." I gestured for Wendy to stay behind as a followed Chelia to a dimly lit hallway.

"Don't you think Wendy's kind of weird?"

Did she find out? "No. Why?"

"Oh, nothing. But I have something else to tell you."

"What is it?" I asked her.

"Um.. I-I've" Chelia paused, questioning if she should go on. "Had a crush on you since middle school." She said super fast. "D-Do you perhaps like m-me back?"

"I," I paused. I really don't like her in that way. All I want is to be friends with her. "I don't like you back.."

"O-Oh.. yea I was stupid to think that you would. Okay I got to go. I'll see you later, Romeo." Chelia ran off.

I went back to Wendy. She was standing there. But something was weird about her? "Hey Wendy, are you okay?"

"R-Romeo.." Wendy turned her head to look at me. "Wh-What's this feeling?" She asked me holding her chest.

"I-I don't know what your talking about Wendy.." She was acting weird in public, we need to go somewhere private. "Wendy follow me."

I lead her back to our house. It was only about five minutes away from school.

"R-Romeo.."

"Yes? What is it?"

"I-Why-Do you?"

"Do I what?"

"Do you.. love me?"

"Huh?" I'm confused. "What do you mean?"

"Romeo.. I think.. I-Is this.. what you call love?"

"I-" How am I suppose to respond to that. I'm no love expert. Wait. No.

"I think I.. love you Romeo.." Tears filled Wendy's eyes.

No. "No. No! You don't love me Wendy!"

I need to reset her. But how? The button. The button on the back of her neck.

"Wendy. Come here for a second." She walked closer to me. "Turn around."

She must've realized what I was doing. "No! Romeo, please!" She backed up away from me. "You can't reset me! I love you Romeo!"

I walked toward her. "Wendy. I wasn't going to reset you. I'm happy that you love me."

Her eyes softened. "Y-You are?"

I nodded continuing to walk towards her with my arms out. Wendy walked towards me and hugged me, giving me the perfect opportunity to push the button. I pressed it, causing Wendy to fall unconscious for the time being.

This sucks. What if she doesn't completely reset? I picked Wendy up and carried her to my room placing her on my bed and walking back to school.

I did my normal routine for school then went back home to check on Wendy.

I was going to unlock the door to my house but it was opened. "Oh, hey Wendy." I waved. "Are you feeling better?"

"Yep!" She smiled at me.

She's different. Well of course she is, I reset her.

Wendy's phone got a message. She looked at it. "Chelia wants to hang out with me at the park."

"Okay."

"Can I go?"

"Yea."

Wendy nodded and left the house to go hang out with Chelia.

Wendy opened the door to my room. "I'm back, Romeo."

"Cool, what did you guys do?" I asked her.

"We talked and got some food to eat for dinner."

"Oh yea, I almost forgot. Thanks for doing my homework for me last night." I'm pretty sure that's the reason why she wasn't fully charged.

"You're welcome, Romeo." Wendy smiled. "I figured I should help you out, since your grades aren't very good."

"My grades are normal."

Wendy nodded. "I'll start my homework."

"Okay." I responded. She walked out of the room and downstairs to get her backpack.

I pulled back out my phone and went on social media.

Wendy came back upstairs with two backpacks.  One mine and one hers. "I hope you don't mind. I brought up yours too, so we could do homework together."

I sighed. "Fine."

Wendy and I continued working on homework for about an hour and a half before we decided to stop and go to sleep.

In the morning, Wendy and I got ready, at some breakfast then started walking to school.

Chelia was waiting at the gate. "Hey Wendy!" Chelia waved running up to her. "Come with me." She pulled Wendy away and into the school leaving me in the dust.
