"Oh! Tsuchigomori-kun!" A light-hearted voice called to the spider supernatural-disguised-as-a-teacher.
He turned and saw you running to him, books in hand. "Oh, hello (L/N)."
"I was wondering where you were! I was going to say thanks for letting me borrow that book. I'll repay you somehow!" You said, placing the book you borrowed back in his hands before he could say anything else and you ran back to your class, still needing to prepare for the next group of kids.
"Ah.." Tsuchigomori started, then sighed and looked down to the book you put in his hand.
Meanwhile, around the corner, Yashiro and Kou peeked out, taking in what just occured.
"She still doesn't know?" Yashiro whispered to the younger Minamoto.
"I guess not." Kou said, shrugging. "Wish she could s-"
Hanako suddenly popped up next to them. "Hey guys!"
Yashiro and Kou each put a hand on No. 7's mouth. "Shh!"
Hanako pushed their hands off, pouting. "Hey! What's the big deal?" He whispered angrily.
"Just watch."
The ghost boy looked around the corner, saw you in step with another teacher, and then looked to Tsuchigomori who had an angry face. The teacher, still with a glare on his face, turned his back on them and went back into his classroom.
Hanako raised an eyebrow. Why was No. 5 so angry?
Then it hit him.
"Is Tsuchigomori jealous?" He asked, giggling.
Yashiro nodded, glaring at the blushing teacher next to you. "He's gotta be. That teacher next to (L/N)-sensei.. urgh, he's ruining Tsuchigomori-sensei and her getting together!"
Kou made a grunt in agreement. "Yeah! We gotta keep that teacher away!"
The daikon-ankled girl sighed. "How though? We don't have any classes with that guy."
Yashiro and the boys stood there in silence, thinking about what to do. Suddenly, Kou snapped his fingers.
"Since both Yashiro-senpai and I have the same periods together for (L/N)-sensei, we can at least try to distract her from that teacher and get Tsuchigomori to make a move on her before that teacher!"
Yashiro put her fist on her palm, beaming. "Good idea, Kou! Hanako-kun, do you think you could tell Tsuchigomori about doing something for (L/N)-sensei?"
"Yeah, I can do that.." Hanako mumbled distractedly, not really as motivated as his friends. He was looking over at some dust floating in the sunlight from a nearby window.
"Ok! We all have our roles," Yashiro whispered loudly, putting her hand out. "Together now."
Hanako and Kou put their hands on top of hers and they whispered in unison, "Operation: Get Together, start!"
