First Date With Shawn P2

Part 2!! This isn't the greatest start to this book, not gonna lie, but I promise I'm working on some pretty radical imagines B)

After Shawn pulled out all the food, we immediately dug in. Eating, talking and laughing at each others corny jokes. It was an amazing first date. And the food was delicious. 

"So, (Y/n), I was thinking, on our next date we could go see a movie around midday, then get ice-cream? Sound good?" Shawn asks, finishing off his sandwich. 

"Assuming there's gonna be a second date, huh? I don't know about that one..." I giggle smiling so much my cheeks hurt.(A/N: thats not gonna be the only reason your 'cheeks' hurt ;)... sorry i had tooooo) 

"Are you saying you don't want a second date?" He pokes at my side, causing me to giggle once again.

"I would love to go on another date with you Shawn," I smile, "Plus there's ice-cream involved. Who could say no to that!" 

15 minutes pass and we decide we should head back to the dock. We pack up the picnic basket and Shawn ties the boat back up and we walk back to his car hand in hand.

"I really did enjoy today, (Y/n), thank you." He says, kissing my cheek. 

I blush and nod, not knowing what to say. 

He opens my door for me, helping me up before jogging around to his side of the car and climbing inside. Turning on the engine, he places his hand on my thigh and smiles, sending butterflies swarming in my stomach.

We make it home and once again Shawn helps me out and walks me to the front door. 

"I can't wait for our next date, I'll text you," He says, giving me a lingering kiss on the forehead. 

"Bye Shawn!" I call out, before walking back inside with a smile I don't think will be leaving anytime soon.
