Just Talking

Deku's PoV

" DEKU!!! DEKU WHERE ARE YOU!"

Is that- before I could finish my thought the door to the classroom slammed open. I immediately sat up, my fur raised. My head turned, and my green eyes immediately met with a pair of red ones.

" There you are... you dumb cat... hah," in that moment Kacchan collapsed to his knees. I eyes went wide as I immediately ran over to check on him. I meowed at him concerned, but of course he couldn't understand. Kacchan!? Omg are you okay? Are you hurt? What's going on?

When I got closer to him I was immediately pulled into a, death grip, hug. My body immediately tensed. K-Kacchan? I started to relax in his grasp. " You- why weren't you at the dorms? Why would you leave like that? What if something happened to you? I've already lost someone this week I'm not losing another."

I tried to pry my head to look at him, but I couldn't fully see his face. He gave out another sigh before he set me down infront of him. I looked up at him only to be met with a glare. My ears fell down as my head turned to the floor. I meowed at him, trying to apologize.

" Hah.... are you alright?" He asked, his eyes softening. I meowed at him once again.

" Good," he paused. " Well since you made me come to school so early we might as well chat for a bit." He the picked me up and plopped me on my desk. He then sat backwards on his chair so he could face me.

" So," he started. " A lot happed while we were out. Do you wanna hear about it?" I nodded and meowed at him, eagerly wanting to know what he'd found. " Me and shittyhair went searching for a kid named Midoriya Izuku, he actually sits in the seat your in." He said pointing at the desk. " At first we were searching at some places where he works out, but sharks got hungry."

I gave out a little cat chuckle after hearing Kiri's new nick name. Kacchan smiled a little then continued on with his story. " So we found a convenience store, which took fuck forever by the way, it was like the only thing open. But, when we got there I stayed out while he went inside. I spotted the nerd ID. Of course I had to then go inside and convince the cashier to give me security footage, and then we walked home. That pretty much it."

But, that's not it. Last night you did something else didn't you? So I tried to get him to confess. I turned my head to the side and meowed. He understood what I was asking,' Are you sure that's it?'

He then gave out another sigh, " of course you can tell I'm lying, just like the other damn nerd." He said the last part under his breath but I still understood him. " Well, before we fully made it into the dorms, I did something kinda embarrassing..." He then turned his head, his gaze out the window. I could see a little blush on his cheeks.

My ear went down as he continued. " I confessed in front of Kirishima." Again my heart broke. I knew I didn't hear it wrong, but I can't show weakness in front of Kacchan. I'll have to support him. So instead of looking sad I put on an exited face and meow at him in, fake, delight.

He chuckled at my reaction. " Hehe, yeah it was super embarrassing. The weirdo even tackled me to the ground after hearing it." At that moment Kacchan glanced towards the clock on the wall. " People are gonna start showings here pretty soon. How about I get us some breakfast?"

I meowed at him in agreement. He then chuckled and went out the door saying he'd be back soon. As soon as the door shut behind him my ears fell back down. My chest felt really tight like I was being crushed. I just have to look happy while I'm near him, and then next week this will all be over... wait isn't today Saturday? Why did Kacchan come to school?

Just then the door opened to reveal a yellow caterpillar. Mr. Aizawa! I meowed at him getting his attention as he turned tiredly towards me.

" Oh, hey," he yawned out. " Why are you here so early?" I then jumped on Kacchan's desk an stomped my foot. " Ah, so Bakugo is here too huh?"

He then continued to do whatever he started to do before he noticed me, which was shuffling papers. When he finished, I watched him throw himself on to the floor and close his eyes. I then made my way over to him.

" Meow!" I saw one of his eyes peel open.

" Huh?" He questioned. " What do you want? Let me sleep." He proceeded to close his eyes again, but this time I slapped him in the face with my paw. We stayed in that position for a minute before he sighed and sat up.

" What?" I then stomped on the ground and turned my head, all while meowing at him. I wonder if he gets what I'm asking. The tired teacher stared a me for a moment before understanding my question. " Why are you in class today?" I meowed and nodded my head at him.

I heard a sigh come out of his mouth," do these kids do anything?" He asked the question more to himself.

" Well," he began. " We're going on an overnight trip to a hot springs. A few pros are going to talk to you guys about there experiences, and hardships." When he finished talking my eyes lit up. We're gonna meet some more pro hero's! I wonder who? What will there quirks be? Dang it! I'm so upset I can't write anything down right now!

" Oh, by the way." I glanced up at the teacher as he began to spoke again. I'll record the whole thing for you since I know how you like this stuff, okay?"  My eyes went wide as I meowed in absolute delight. I then started to purr and rub my head on my teacher, trying to show my happiness and gratitude.

He chuckled and started to pet my head. " Yeah yeah yeah, your welcome." I looked up at him with a cat grin as he continued to pet me.

" Oi Deku, breakfast!" I spun around to find Kacchan walking in with... Kirishima. I immediately stopped purring, which I'm sure Aizawa noticed, but I kept my happy face up as I trotted over to them. " Ready to eat?" The blonde questioned me. He picked me up as I meowed, and we walked over to our desk. I tried to ignore them both as I dug into the fish Kacchan brought me. Just then more of our classmates started filling in.

This is gonna be a long trip.
