Relief

Deku's PoV

I continued to hiss at the big dogs surrounding me, but the only led to them biting and scratching me more. Even though my vision was starting to blur, I could still hear shouting in the distance. I feel like my legs are about to give out... I immediately pushed my thoughts away. No! Not yet! I can still fight!

So I mustered up as much strength as I could and swiped my paw at the wolves again. But, it had no effect. I was soon pick up by a wolf just just to be rag doll thrown over the cliff.

The whole situation seemed to go in slow motion. As soon as my body was in the air my eyes landed on Kirishima dragging Kacchan away over his shoulder. G-good... they're gonna make it out. I instantly felt a weight being lifted off my chest. He's safe, and h-he'll be happy with Kiri... t-they'll be happy together.

Instantly I find myself locking eyes with Kacchan. Tears pour out of his eyes as he seems to regret every decision he's made in his life. A hint of regret makes it s way into my chest. Ah- but there is nothing I can do.

So, I smile. Please don't be sad Kacchan... you didn't do anything wrong. I chose to save you. So there is no need for tears. I could feel my self smiling wider as I watched them both fade into the distance.

Because... I love you.

With that final thought I was falling. Wind hit my face as I was quickly coming closer to the ground. I watched as my vision went out, and everything turned to black, the ground hurdling closer.

Pain. Why am I in so much pain? I slowly tried to peel my eyes open, immediately shutting them when I was met with bright light. I opened them again, this time blinking rapidly to get used to the light. Ugh- where am I?

I looked around only to be met with trees, dirt, and grass. I'm in a forest? Memories of the incident flooded in to my head. The wolves, the fall, Kirishima... Kacchan. I SURVIVED. I instantly tried to stand up, making pain shoot through my entire body. URG-! Okay... not a good idea. Let's take this slow.

One foot at a time I got on my feet. The pain was almost unbearable and everything around me was spinning, but I fought through it. I turned my head to the sky. The trees above me had a bunch of broken branches. Guess that's how I survived, I cringed at the thought.

Through the branches the sun could be seen, tell me it was somewhere around noon. If I want to get anywhere before dark I'll have to get moving...

So I set of, limping in pain every step of the way, and stopping for a break if I got a dizzy spell. As I progressed the terrain only got harder to maneuver through. I dropped to the ground, exhausted. I felt like crying, it I can't even make it through this... how am I gonna make it up the hill side?

I decided to give myself a minute to breathe, so I closed my eyes and calmed myself down. After calming down I could hear things around me I didn't notice where there. Lots of birds chirped in the distance. But my hair stood up when I heard a large amount of rustling, not so far off In the distance.

No no no no! They're after me again! They're here to finish me off! Without thinking I stood to my feet, ignoring the pain, and powered up OFA. My vision started to blur again as I felt my body giving out on me. Two figures walked through the brush.

" YOUNG MIDORYA!" I heard one shout. " AIZAWA I FOUND-"

" I know get out of my way!" I heard the rustling get closer until it was right in front of me. " You're such a problem child." I heard him sigh slightly in relief. No way-

I felt like crying, but instead I collapsed from exhaustion, and relief.

" Midoriya!" I heard Aizawa gasped, catching me. " Hey-Hey! Stay with us here!"
I smiled up, reassuring the two teachers, before passing out.

I could hear a loud beeping in my ear. Urg-! I yet again tried to open my eyes, only to yet again be met with a blinding light. I grunted slightly in response. This time I slowly opened my eyes, only to be met with the nurses office, at school. Heck I would know.

I slowly turn my head, looking around the room for anyone that would tell me what happened. Almost immediately I spot something next to my bed. A spiked blonde bunch of hair planted on my bed side. Kacchan? I question in my head.

The head immediately snaps up in my direction, making my hair go up and my eyes go wide. My eyes are then met with a beautiful pair of red ones.

Tears flood to the corners of his eyes. " D-Deku?" I didn't really trust my voice as my throat felt dry, so I just nodded at him. I could only watch as he started bawling his eyes out infront of me. " Y-You're such an idiot! You're lucky I can't punch you! You should've just told us! Why didn't you tell us? Tell me?! Hell I was worried sick!"

My head spun as he continued to yell at me. Wait, what? Does he know that-

My thoughts are then cut off from a large amount of pain going through my whole body. I curl into myself trying to get the pain to subside, but it's no use. I could here someone shouting next to me. Soon enough the pain is so bad that I start screaming out in pain.

" Urgh! H-Help it hurts!" I cry out.

" Deku! Hold on! It will be over soon! Hold on!"

I continue to cry out as the pain slowly subsides. I clutch on to my stomach as the pain finally disapates, leaving me feeling like I have pins and needles all over my body.

" Deku? Hey, Deku?!" I feel someone shake my shoulder slightly. I'm not sure when I closed my eyes, but I then open them to find a whole group of people sounding me. My vision blurred, I scan through the whole group, my eyes once again landing on a spiky haired blonde.

" Kacchan?" I question my voice horse. I hear the whole group sigh in relief.

" Thank god," I hear Kacchan say. " you really are-"

" Okay enough of that! I have a surgery to get through," I turn to recovery girl as she shouts at the group. But no one moves. " It means get out!" She yells at the group, instantly they all scramble out of the room. Once out she slams the door and sighs.

" So-" I start but I'm cut off.

" Don't 'So' me mister! You really can't stay out of trouble can you?" I give out a little chuckle as I shake my head at her. She just sighs and shakes he head she starts putting an IV in my arm, and soon enough I start to feel my eyes get heavy. Then it all turns to black.

I FINALLY DID IT! Holy crap it took me so long to get this chapter right... do you want to know how many times I've written this chapter??? 4. FOUR TIMES!!! Urg right? And they where all worse then the way I wrote this one, but I couldn't keep holding out on you guys so-

Anyway it was a rough one. But also I'm in pain guys 😓 I got all of my molars removed yesterday;; I want solid foods and it's only been one dayyyy.... literally sucks.

Also I hope you guys know i was never planning on killing my baby boy lol. That was just for the laughs (my laughs lol).
