"y/n smiling on mondays? something good happened buddy?" johnny asked as he noticed the smile in your face in the morning. you just shyly nodded and turned on your laptop. "something must have really happened" doyoung said in awe.
at this rate, you knew everyone was curious about it. but jaehyun was around, so you were a bit hesitant to tell them about it. despite them bugging you, you still decided to kept your mouth shut and only told eunseo what happened.
but it wasn't really a good option since the both of you started fangirling a lil too loud that the boys overheard the conversation. "jacob? the one from jae's party?" doyoung asked, making the two of you jump in surprise. since when did he eavesdrop to the conversation?
you noticed the gloom in jaehyun's expression but you guess it was better that way. at least, the boys knew you moved on from jaehyun and would probably stop teasing the both of you. though eunseo decided to friendzone him, you were pretty sure that things were gonna go well between the two of them soon.
"yeah, apparently he noticed me even before the party. i didn't know he attended our school... the best thing was, he said hes gonna wait for me after school today! i just hope i dont blush too hard or something" you said while covering your cheeks.
eunseo rose her eyebrows playfully, teasing about how embarrassed you were. honestly, it was heart fluttering that someone actually wants to head home with you besides doyoung. though you only knew jacob recently, he seems to be giving you much more butterflies than jaehyun did in the past few months.
knowing where you stand in jaehyun's life, all these while those feelings that you thought were special, were just jaehyun being friendly.
maybe, jacob could be the one, you hoped.
