It was a week after Red's suicide attempt. Red stayed in a hospital, due to the large amount of injuries thanks to his mother, who was arrested for child abuse, reckless endangerment, and two DUIs.
After Red was dismissed from the hospital, he got his pokemon back and is staying with Daisy and Green. He's also in therapy, but he rarely talks, not exactly trusting anyone except Green, Daisy, and Professor Oak.
But he's starting to trust Yellow rather quickly, after all, she saved and cared for Pika when he escaped to find help.
Green was more of a therapist to Red than his actual therapist.
Red was having a severe case of PTSD. From the abuse, bullying, and the Elite Four incident. Red was always having nightmares about his mother hurting him and killing Blue, Yellow, Daisy, Oak, and Green. The last one was the most brutal. Red almost always cried to sleep every single night.
Green was always gentle and patient with Red, always comforting Red when he has a panic attack or a nightmare even if it came in the middle of the night.
Yellow often visited Red and Green to help Red with his recovery when it comes to trust.
After a while, Red realized his feelings
for Green, he was in love!
Red was so nervous. What would happen if he told Green? Would he love Red back or would it ruin their friendship. Well, it doesn't hurt to try, so Red left a note on Green's desk, asking to meet up with him at the lake.
At five o'clock, Green meets up with Red. "Green..I...I need to say something very important....I ..love you..." Green was stunned and blushed quite a bit. Red noticed Green's silence and was nervous. "I-I understand if you don-" Red was cut off by Green kissing him on the lips.
Red was shocked, but let's it happen, kissing back slightly.
After five minutes, hey break the kiss, Green saying "Oh Red..I love you too..I love you so much." Red smiled and hugs Green lovingly and the two watched the sunset, wondering what will happen now. But the know this, they'll be able to overcome anything together.
After all, they have each other. They told the others, Blue fainted, Daisy and Yellow squealed, clearly supportive and Professor Oak smiled kindly, also approving.
"Green, take good care of Red." Yellow said, Green nods "I always will."
They've been a great couple, making each other stronger, defeating any foes they come across with ease.
Maybe another time, they'll find more surprises.
