Knockout Round: Payton Myler versus Luke Sarion
"Luke getting the early lead, but Payton is just a step behind! Ooh, awkward dismount, bangs her legs. Luke has a wide lead. But look at Payton, she's closing the gap! Struggling with the dismount, and Sarion gets a full-obstacle lead. Remember what happened in his first race, though. And hung up again on the second basket. Payton's even! They're off at the same time! Oh, Payton stumbles and Luke does it! He gets the win!"
Knockout Round: Sammy Bainbridge versus Damiyah Smith
"Damiyah falling a little behind. Remember, she fell on the Ring Toss in her first race. Has a better feel for it this time, and Sammy is struggling! He missed a peg placement! Damiyah isn't letting up. She's pushing right past him! And Sammy misses again! His momentum is out of control right now. Finally figures it out, but Damiyah has a sizable lead. Bainbridge has got to M-O-V-E, move.
"AND DAMIYAH GOES DOWN! Her hands slipped off the wheel! Sammy just has to complete the Fly Wheels to win the race!"
Sammy almost lost his grip on the last wheel, just barely reaching the platform. He miraculously kept his balance.
Final Showdowns
Alyssa Cerula versus Luke Sarion
"A tentative start by Alyssa. This isn't the time for hesitation! And she catches up on the I-Beam. Her foot hits the water! Luke pulls away as Alyssa takes time to dry her foot. Luke is hung up! He's swinging all over the place! Alyssa pulls even- and she's hung up as well! Luke lets go first". Luke's hands slipped off the last basket, and he tumbled backwards into the water. Alyssa went for the transition, got it with one hand, and... lost her grip. Her momentum launched her, spinning like a tornado, towards the platform. She bellyflopped on, and slipped headfirst into the water.
Sammy Bainbridge versus Carter Lam
"And they're off! These two so evenly matched, matching each other step for step. I think Sammy wants another photo finish!
"Carter's kicked it into another gear! He's pulling away on the Fly Wheels! Sammy tries to keep up- and he's down! Carter Lam gets the win!" In an attempt to catch Carter, Sammy attempted to make the dismount in a single move and fell.
Nate Pardo versus Jonah Brown
"These two exploding out of the gate. I think they want to break the sound barrier! Nate getting a little separation on the Devil Steps- AND JONAH SKIPS THREE STEPS! These two are flying! Jonah a razor-thin lead, but Nate is a little more efficient here on the shelves. Too close to call!"
Jonah hit the buzzer just six-hundredths if a second before Nate.
Semifinalists
Luke Sarion (upset)
Carter Lam
Jonah Brown (upset)
A/N: This episode was so much fun to write! Also a LOT of exclamation points. Interesting 9/10 final with both of them losing the seeding round and then falling on Spin Cycle. The only thing that kept Jonah out of the semifinals in the real season was bad luck, so now he's getting his chance to move on. This means both Brown brothers could be in the finale. REALLY looking forward to writing that episode.
