"Thank you for shopping at Walmart, have a nice day" I say in a bored tone.

The old lady scoffs and grabs her bag, "Jerk" She mumbled while walking off.

I roll my eyes once again at another rude customer and check my watch. I've been on the job for six hours and don't get off for another eight. Someone shoot me please.

"Malik!"

I turn to see my best friend, Louis walking over with a giant smile on his face. "What are you doing down here? You work in electronics" I smile.

Louis snorts, "I know, but there's nothing wrong with visiting my handsome friend down in the checkout. How are you my pretty?"

I sigh, "Just peachy. God, why are people so damn rude?"

Louis hops on my conveyor belt ignoring the looks he's getting from people. "Tell me about it" He rolls his eyes.

An employee walks by and scowls at Louis. "Louis, what are you doing down here? You should be in electronics."

"Bite me, Pamela" He snarls.

"Lou, get your massive bum off my conveyor belt. People put their food there ya know?" I grimace.

Louis rolls his eyes, "Whatever. Say, why don't you come over tonight? We can watch some movies and I'll order pizza."

"Sounds temping, but no. My brother's coming over tonight. He's been in town for a few days" I reply while organizing the money in his register.

Louis straightens his back and his eyes widen, "Anthony?"

"He's the only brother I have" I chuckle.

"Well can I come over? I'd love to see Anthony" Louis wiggles his brows.

"No, Louis, stop trying to hook up with Anthony. He has a boyfriend, you know this" I roll my eyes.

"Oh hush I don't wanna hook up with him."

I cock a brow at my friend.

"Okay maybe, but I can't help it. He's so damn sexy and he's been in the US so long that he's adopted an American accent. An American accent!" He squeals.

"Excuse me, I'd like to checkout" A woman with a basket in her hands says.

Louis turns to her, "Sorry, love its closed" He smiles sweetly.

The woman scoffs, "No its not. I see no closed sign and I see the checkout guy right there" She points to me.

"When I say its closed, its closed. Now I suggest you go down the hygiene aisle and buy some Q-Tips to clean out those ears of yours so you can hear better. Oh and while you're at it, get some whitening strips. You should really try drinking coffee through a straw" Louis says sassily.

The woman's mouth drops, "How dare you! I'm never shopping here again!"

Louis clutches his heart. "I'm so hurt" He groans sarcastically. "Now bugger off, I was in the middle of a conversation."

The woman huffs and stomps off leaving a smirking Louis and a horrified me in her wake. "Lou! You can't just talk to customers like that!" I say.

Louis shrugs and sat up, "It doesn't matter. I don't even work up here. I'm telling you Zayn, you should ask Reynolds to move you to electronics. So much more fun happens back there. Instead of being stuck up here with the old folks you can be with me and Harry."

I give him a stern look, "I hate Harry, you know that."

Louis throws his hands in the air,"Why?! He's a great lad! He's funny, sweet, caring, not to mention hot as hell."

I narrow my eyes at him, "Lou you've been bugging me about hanging with him for awhile. Why do you want my approval so bad?"

Louid visibly tenses and gulps, "No reason...its just...he's my friend and I want you to like him."

"Sure" I reply. "Now get up and go back to your post. I need to work."

Louis groans, "But it takes effort to walk all the way back there."

"You walked up here so you can walk back. Stop being a lazy ass."

Louis waves me off and walks away, "Oh you like this ass. Seeya, Malik."

I chuckle and shake my head. I look up seeing a customer heading my way and I sigh. "Can this day end already?" I mumble.

DING

I hop off the couch and makes my way to the door.

"Tony!" I yell happily opening it. I tackle my brother in a big hug.

"Zayn!" Tony replies. "Its great to seeya little bro" He pulls away and ruffles my hair.

"Hey watch the hair!" I groan and quickly fix my now matted locks.

Tony chuckles and makes his way to the couch, taking a seat. "So little bro, I've got news."

I sit next to him and smile, "Do tell big bro."

"Okay so you know how Tyler asked me to move in with him?"

I nod, "Yeah."

"Well he asked me something else" Anthony smiles widely.

My brows furrow, "What?"

Anthony lifts his hand showing a beautiful diamond ring on his finger. "He asked me to marry him!"

My mouth drops, "What?!"

"He proposed to me. We were finishing unpacking and when I opened the last box there was this black, velvet box inside. When I turned to ask Tyler what it was he was on his knee and he said, 'Anthony Yaser Malik, I love you so much. You're not only my boyfriend but you're my best friend. There are times when I wonder how I got so lucky to have a beautiful person like you in my life. I never want anyone to take you away from me and I wanna make you mine forever so...will you marry me?'"

"Oh my god! That's so cute!" I squeal like a little girl and jump up and down with Anthony as we hold hands.

"I'm so happy for you. You and Tyler make such a lovely couple and I knew this time would come. Not this early, but holy shit I'm still so happy! Ugh, you two are cute as hell!" I gush.

Anthony's cheeks burn red and he bites his lip. "Thank you" He mumbles.

"So when's the wedding?" A smirk forms on my lips and I nudge his shoulder.

"We haven't settled a date yet, but since Tyler and I live in America now, we were gonna have it there, in New Jersey. It won't be big and we'll have it at a church. I want you to be my best man."

"Of course I'll be your best man! Have you told mom and dad?" I ask.

"No not yet. We want to tell them in person, but Tyler's been working overtime so he's unable to. We'll tell them this weekend when we have our family dinner."

"That's great, Tony. I'm so happy and excited for you. You and Tyler are gonna start your lives together!" I say happily.

"And we'll make cute babies!" Anthony squeals.
