(There's A lot of time skips... Sorry)
Opening my eyes I look around to the familiar view of my apartment, it takes a second for me to adjust. "It's ok love... It's going to be ok." I look up to Adin, but struggle to form a smile. Leading me to the bed he sits us down, me in his lap, and holds me close. A familiar hum fills me ears as I bury my head in his shoulder. I startle when his hand finds my hair, stroking it, sobs rack through me. Shaking, I let Adin lay us down, him still holding me to him.
That's how I fall asleep, the sound of my own sobs and his humming fill the small apartment.

I wake slowly my head fuzzy, but soon I notice it's strangely dark, reaching up I feel the soft feathers of Adin's wings. "Adin?" I can't help but smile when both his arms and wings close closer around me, his head pressed into my chest. "Come one... Five more minutes?" With a shake of my head I drift off again, my demon holding me close.

Jill's funeral is a week later, I have to stay back watching from a distance. After not finding my body in the remains of the hospital I was assumed dead by police. I don't know where we're going to go, but Adin and I have decided we can't stay in the city. After every one else has left I leave a bouquet black gold lillies* on her grave, they were always her favorite.
Authors note: Sorry it was so short I just felt it should be.
*Black Gold Lily some times known as lion's heart.
The color black has always been synonymous with death and mourning. It is thus the color of sadness and farewell. Lilies symbolize that the soul of the departed has received restored innocence after death.
