Agent Sierra's POV
Sierra Ridge had been in this house many, many times before. She knew every creaky step and unoiled door hinge. She slid a small earpiece into her right ear as she walked.
"Agent Sierra reporting."
A response came immediately.
"Agent Alex here."
"Where are you?"
"Adrianna's master closet. Hurry, she just went into the bathroom."
Just like in a cliche movie, Sierra Ridge ducked into a nearby air vent and climbed all the way to the master closet. She dropped down with a gentle thunk and a head popped out from one of her many cabinets.
"Finally. It's bloody cramped in here."
Alexa Wilden - aka Agent Alex - climbed out and handed Sierra an apron and bowl of water.
"Contingencies." She winked.
"Ah, well, let's hope they're not used." Sierra dashed out of the closet and was making her way through the giant room when Adrianna appeared.
"What are you doing here?" She snapped, clearly buying Sierra's cover as another maid in the dark.
"I was worried the room might be too dry," Sierra said in her best Russian accent.
"Well put the water down and leave," Adrianna ordered. Sierra set the bowl down and hurried out of her room, down the stairs, and straight into Adrianna's parent's office.
"Let's hope they didn't change their password," she murmured, turning on the first computer she saw.
"What was that?" Alexa hissed.
"Nothing, nothing, geez." Sierra snapped. The light from the computer screen lit up the room and Sierra hurried to type in the password to nearly every device at Adrianna's house. Their family was way too naive.
"I'm in," she whispered into her mic, then clicked over to email, the only method of communication in Adrianna's household. Unfortunately, the family was smart enough to make their email secure, while dumb enough to not log out, hence the whole break-in.
After successfully making sure that Adrianna didn't know about her parents double-lives, she shut down the computer and started making her way back to the closet.
"Freeze!"
Like a total amatuer, Sierra froze. Then realizing how dumb it was, she made a move to flee, but her instincts told her not to. Sierra slowly turned around.
"I need a glass of water," a woman's voice said. Sierra let out a sigh of relief.
"Of course ma'am, it'll be waiting for you as soon as you get back from the bathroom."
After pouring and leaving a glass of water by the woman's bedside, Sierra snuck back into the air vent, crawled her way to the other side of the mansion, grabbed Lydia by the arm, and fleed.
