Try listening to slowed + reverb songs, it might help if you wanna vibe ;) or just chill music!Angelina's P.O.V
I smile at my reflection in the mirror. Tonight was going to be perfect. It was my first time hanging with a girl. But it wasn't a date. I would've liked it to be though. Anyway, all I want to do is just vibe. Ashley had her ups and downs, but most of the time she's very bubbly. We're both very wild too! I looked down at my outfit. Is it too much? I wore a black top with a checkered skirt and sneakers. I thought about it. The weather is perfect to wear a skirt. I told myself to stop worrying. Before I left, I smeared on pink lip gloss. I was almost out when I heard a car honk outside.
Ashley's P.O.V
I rolled down the window and see Angelina looking sexy as always. She smiles and walks over to my car. Her short skirt gave an amazing view of her long, slim legs. I lick my lips as she got in. ''Hey Lina,'' I smile. ''Hey. Why didn't you tell me you were picking me up?'' She asks. ''Just a lil' surprise,'' I wink. ''Buckle up hun,'' I say. From the corner of my eye, I saw her blush softly.
We were almost at the Metro station. I glanced at my watch. 4:05. ''Hey uh what time do you have to be home babe?'' I blushed and wondered why I called her that. She chuckles softly. ''My parents are out of town so let's take advantage of that, k?'' Angelina gives me a small smile. ''Yes m'am,'' I replied.
I parked the car and opened Lina's door. Her plump lips formed into a smile. As we walked, I considered holding her hand. Should I? Instead, I placed my arm around her waist to make her feel safe. I felt her body relax at my touch. "I have a Tap card you can use," I handed her a blue card from my wallet. "That's okay. I have my own," She replies. We both tapped our cards on a machine and walked onto the other side. "How'd you know I wanted to take you Downtown?"I ask as we waited for our train. "You've mentioned it quite a few times Ash," Lina says. "Are you excited?" I nudged her elbow. Angelina stuck her tongue at me. "Eh not really," She teases. "You're going to love it I promise," I hold her hands and bring her closer to me.
"Hey Ash?" She whispered. "Yes Lina?" I stroke her long brown hair. "There's people starring at us," She says softly. "I know, just ignore them okay?" I whispered back. I didn't want her to feel scared to express who she was. But Angelina wasn't out yet, not to everyone. "If you don't feel comfortable, we can stop," I let go of her. "No it's not that. I just hate when people stare. Like have you not seen lesbians before?" Angelina rolls her eyes. "Oh you're, lesbian?" I ask. "I don't know yet. Still figuring it out," Lina sighs. "No pressure. Take your time," I give her a small smile. She nods. Our train arrived two minutes later. I moved Lina closer to me so we wouldn't get lost in the pit of people trying to get in.
"Hold on okay? You'll fall if you don't hold on to the pole," Angelina laughs. "I'll laugh when you fall. And I won't help you get up," I smirk. "You're funny Ash," Lina smiles. The train made several stops on the way to Downtown LA. A group of teenagers walked in with a speaker blaring R/B music. "Hey I know this song," Angelina says. I gasp. "Let's Get Lost by G-Eazy!" I squeak. Angelina laughs. "Break me down, break me all the way down tonight! Before the night is over!" We sang and danced, our hands tightly gripping the pole so we wouldn't fall. Lina would laugh every time my fingers would slip. We were having so much fun, we almost missed our stop!
Angelina and I hurried out, raced up the stairs and out of the station. We stopped to catch our breath. She seemed astonished by everything around her. "So just to make things clear, you've never been down here?" I ask. "Well yeah but not this part. There's buildings everywhere!" She smiles. "Where to first?" I ask. "Oh can we get something to eat? I'm starving," Angelina says. "Yeah so am I. Sushi?" I ask. "I love sushi! Yes of course!" Angelina grins. "Let's go baby," I held her hand all the way there. It wasn't very much of a long walk, or maybe it was because everything was so close together. I looked up and see old and fancy apartment buildings. Neon signs glowing brighter as the sun was setting. Lime scooters on some corners. Angelina was gasping and pointing at every cool thing she sees. I smile at her silliness. "Watch your step," I tell her. I laugh and kept her from falling. "You're stupid," I tease. "You should've told me before I almost ate shit," Angelina laughs. "You're welcome by the way," I smirk. She shakes her head and smiles.
