Jeff’s POV

I walked in the forest till I reached the last tree . It was called a TheoArbus tree , which means Tree of The gods in a dead language . I think it was a cross between two languages because Theo is a greek word and Arbus sounds like the french word for tree “Arbre” , but I don’t know if it’s greek . It had a coal black trunk and glittery long pink leaves . Smile Dog was nowhere to be seen though , he’s supposed to be the guardian of the tree this year . Each year , an animal creepypasta is chosen to  guard the tree . Last year it was guarded by Sinopsus the supposed snake of the garden of Eden and this year it’s smile dog . I didn’t like the idea of my boy having to stay here all alone all the time , but when the council l spoke , we all must obey . Why we have to obey ? I have no bloody idea , the identies of the memberes of the council  are a secret , no one knows who they are , yet everyone fears and obeys them . But I guess every population needs an authority figure to set rules and stuff so maybe they’re not that outrageous .

Anyway I came here for some leaves not to debate whether a creepypasta revolution is necessary or not  I stepped under the tree and  picked up some fallen leaves , these were supposed to cure Ben and make him wake up , which is why Jack and Hoody sent me here to get them , actually they didn’t send me , I volunteered , sort of an excuse to see Smiles but he wasn’t here . I stuffed the leaves in my pocket and started yelling his name but he was still a no-show , which was odd because he usually runs to me when I call his name even if he was all the way across town , a smile dog has normal dog hearing except when it comes to it’s master , a smile dog can hear their  master from anywhere in the world and come to them  no matter where he or she is in a small amount of time  , however my dog was missing .

I saw Smile’s footprints in the dirt under the tree and followed them around it , and what I saw made me realize that something terrible is about to happen .

Alex’s POV

I’ve been calling Jeff’s cellphone for an hour now and he hasn’t been responding . I was beginning to get worried , especially that Chris and Emma weren’t home yet and it was getting late.

I went to the living room to check on Sally , she was playing tag with Charly . Creepy .

“Alex !!!” She called .

“Yea ?”

“I wanna play hide and seek with you and Charly and Sabby !”

“Sabby ?”

“Hey Alex “ a voice said from behind me .

I let out a startled scream and everyone laughed including the bear . again , creepy .

I turned around to see Sabrina standing there with a smile .

“Oh hey , how did you get In ?” I asked giving her a hug .

“Charly let me in “ she laughed.

“well where have you been ? I haven’t seen you in a while .”

“Well I was out on a really long murder spree , and let’s just say that the people of Ray Town are emprisonning everyone who’s name starts with an S.” she laughed .

“Oh My God that’s horrible !” I exclaimed feeling sorry for the people she murdered and the innocent people who are going to jail because of her just for being named  Susan or Samuel or Sophie or anything that starts with an S  .

“ Aww Thanks you’re so sweet .” She thanked sounding genuinly pleased .

“So what’s up ?”
