FREYA KODA was orphaned. She had no family. She had no friends. She had no one. No one in the galaxy to care for her. She was all alone. And she was okay with it. Family made you weak. And a weakness can lead to your downfall.
THAT ALL changed when she was offered a place to stay after she saved the life of a smuggle man, Han Solo. She didn't want to take it if it was wanting her as some sort of pleasure slave or something, but he indicated that he knew nothing of medicine and since she knew proper first aid she'd be useful. That and she knew a thing or two about fighting and blasting unwanted guests.
A CREW not a family. That's what it was. Coworkers. Allies. Not a friendship or at least that is what Freya told herself until she finally accepted the truth. Han and Chewie were the closest thing she had to a family.
