FREYA RAN towards the hangar the following morning. She had heard some commotion about, and then heard about the return of Han and Luke.
When Freya arrives in the hangar, she spots Luke being hauled out towards medical. Her eyes linger on the boy as he passes her on a floating gurney. Freya had a brief moment to touch his hand before he left her grasp.
She heard the howling of a Wookiee, followed by a man grumbling to be let go. Freya lifts her gaze up and pushes through the Rebels to where the noise was coming from.
"Okay, fuzzball. You can let me go," Han says.
Freya watched as Chewbacca placed the captain of the Falcon down, at that moment, Freya sprinted over to him. Within a moment, Han was nearly tackled by Freya.
"Oof," Han looks down at the young woman hugging him, "Frey."
Freya shakes her head in Han's chest, "Shut up." She says, "I was so damn worried about you two."
Han has a small smile before hugging her back, "Hey, we're alright." He says, "Safe and sound."
Freya nods and then pulls back from the hug.
Chewbacca growls at them.
Freya laughs a little, "Yeah we should probably let Han change." She grins, "He smells terrible."
Han goes to protest, "Hey why you wouldn't understand-,"
Freya begins to walk away, "Don't care. Just change your clothes, Solo." She says glancing at him briefly.
Han rolls his eyes.
Freya kept the grin on her face and begins to walk away.
She felt a little lighter. She felt a little at peace. The fact that she saw Luke alright, the fact she saw Han alright. She knew from Ben that at least Luke was alright, but it didn't help not knowing about Han.
In her mind she knew both were alright. Now she wasn't sure if it was this connection to the Force being the reason for it or not. Instead, she shakes her head.
She isn't going down that path.
She wasn't a Jedi.
{EMPIRE STRIKES BACK}
IN THE medical center's recovery room, sat Luke. He was on the recovery bed, weak but he was smiling. His face shows terrible wounds from the Wampa's attack.
3PO and R2 enter.
"Master Luke, sir, it's so good to see you fully functional again." 3PO says.
R2 beeps his good wishes.
"R2 expresses his reliefs, also." 3PO says.
Then Luke lifts his head from the droids when he heard the door opening again. Entering was Han, Chewie, and Freya.
