Calvin POV.
I was at the shop getting a line up with Victor when i got the call that kailia was in the hospital i immediately grabbed Victor and dragged him out.
"Man we gotta go kailia is in the hospital we gotta go man." I said to him
"Aye man what about my money?." The barber asked.
"Man we will pay you later we gotta go." Victor yelled at him as we got in the car and drove to the hospital.
"Man i hope she alright man." I said to him.
"Man she will be alright just pray talk to god." Victor told me.
After speeding towards the hospital we got there just in time.
"Dad is everything okay i got here as soon i could." I asked kailia father.
"Um she called me to bring her and they took her to the back and delivered the babies and i asked about her they were prepping her up for surgery." He said to me.
"Family of Kailia Howard?." The doctor call us.
"Doctor is my wife alright?." I immediately asked.
"I'm sorry I'm afraid she slipped into a coma and we are doing everything we can." He said to me.
"Don't give me that don't give me that bullshit my wife is in that hospital bed because of you when she kept telling you something was wrong you ignored her the shortness of breath the high blood pressure the headaches the cracks in her legs is it all in her head now?." I asked him.
"No sir-." He started but i cut him off.
"No i don't wanna hear it maybe if you hadn't been such an asshole towards my wife we wouldn't be in this situation and the sad part i believed you over my wife someone I've know her life." I said to him before walking away.
"Maybe he need time to cool." The doctor said to my father in law.
"I think you should leave... Now." My father in law said to him.
I went up to the receptionist desk and asked where the nursey of the babies and the ICU stations are.
She took me to my beautiful baby girls and they have everything from me and kailia.
"Beautiful aren't they." Nurse Paris approach behind me as i stared that them.
"Yes." I said to her.
"Don't worry kailia is a fighter she is not going to give up.
Three weeks later
It's been three weeks since kailia slipped into a coma and I'm meeting with the doctors and they are talking bout pulling the plug.
"Sir it's your call." The doctor in charge told me.
"I have a question?." I asked them.
"Sure go ahead." He responded back.
"If this was your wife or daughter or sister comes to you telling she is uncomfortable have shortness of breath headaches and high blood pressure and cracks in her legs what you call that?." I asked them
"Well that is called preeclampsia it a rare condition during pregnancy but it an 80% chance of dying and 20% chance of living." The doctor said to me.
"That's all my wife need is 20% chance that's all." I said to them.
"You don't understand-." He said to me.
"No you don't know and understand my wife and you don't certainly know and understand my God." I said while walking out the room.
"I just pray to God she doesn't pass away." The doctor of kailia said to his colleagues.
Calvin ain't backing down for nobody.
