So, many of you will know that this is a continuation of Bethany James and Hunter Hayes' story. The first book was called "Secret Love", and was basically their love tale. This book, while it IS a sequel, techincally, CAN BE READ WITHOUT READING THE FIRST ONE. You won't miss much, honestly. I endeavor to explain everything that is pertinent, such a character traits, past situations, and things of that nature, in enough detail throughout this work that those who haven't read "Secret Love" are not too confused, but little enough detail to keep those who have read "Secret Love" from getting bored.
Now, just as a warning for those of you who have read "Secret Love": this book is VERY different. It's certainly more about Bethany than it is about Hunter, and this is more of a mystery/suspense/intrigue filled novel, whereas the first book was just about the situations that led to Hunter and Bethany eventually getting together.
So, I hope you guys are ready for a book filled with twists and turns, unexpected events, secrets, criminals, darker elements, some romance, and a lot of intrigue. (:
