MIAwww 😺😺😺
Mia is stuck alone at the table and she can't leave because Wren's things are still on it. "Where the heck is that girl?" She thinks as she scans the area another time trying to spot her friend who has been gone for quite some time.
She sips the Guru Green drink in her right hand, her second glass for the night. Thank God she ordered another one before her friends abandoned her. Mia licks the salt of the rim as she looks at Sara shamelessly flirting with two guys three tables away from where she is.
Mia studies and analyzes her friend from afar, she's glad she's starting to build up her confidence on talking with other people. Meanwhile, here she is, sitting alone on the table because her resting bitch face can't even be smiley for a minute to save her life.
With one last big gulp from her drink, Mia signals the bartender to bring her another one, the same one she's been having all night. Every time she visits Naga, this is their go-to place to eat, drink, and hang.
Tonight is her last night here since she needs to be back in Manila for the weekend, family duties and all that. She just took this much needed break to get away from the city. That and to get away from her asshole ex-boyfriend who loves football more than her. Can someone really blame her for breaking up with the boy because he wanted to cancel their anniversary dinner to watch a game?
She just wanted to be away from the bullshit since now, said ex is trying to win her back with flowers and books, her weakest spots. Trying her best to be the strong independent one that Mia truly is, not the weak in the knees girl that always takes center stage whenever he buys her a new book.
As her third drink for the night comes, Mia is well aware that this need to be her last one or else she'll become inhibited and more relaxed. In a crowded place like this, that is not an option, she wouldn't allow it. She prefers to be in control of the situation, in control of what is happening around. It gives her some peace in her mind.
As Wren gets back to the table, she is surprised to only find Mia there, alone with more glasses in front of her than when she initially left.
"Where's Sara?" She inquires to make sure that the attention is not brought to her and her absence.
Mia's only answer was to point through the crowd. There in a separate table was Sara talking with two other guys who finally had impeccable fashion sense.
"And where did you come from missy?" The words coming from Mia makes her cut her gaze away from her busy friend and give her full attention to her inquisitive one. "Don't you think I noticed how long you've been gone?" Mia smirks as she takes another sip of her what third? fourth? drink.
Lost for any explanation, Wren just smiles as she gets her things from the table. Thank God her unit is just a walking distance from this place. "I have to go." The look she gives Mia telling her everything she needs to know.
Mia proceeds to swat her away as if to shoo her away, her presence here unwanted. "Go do your thing and attend to whichever lucky guy you picked up from the short time you've been away." Smirking, obviously the alcohol made her lose more than usual.
As she takes a couple of steps to go, she hears a final reminder from Mia.
"Don't forget to use protection, bitch!" Making Wren shake her head. The whole restaurant did not need that information.
Mia keeps an eye on her until she exits Peninsvla, seems like she is alone for now and can turn in earlier than expected. Maybe she'll just finish her drink and check in a hotel, since Wren's unit might be occupied for the night.
