Taking another step back, he takes a steady beeline to the door. Walking backwards while still looking at her still form by the wall, he leaves Wren for the second time in her life.

All it takes is a split second for her to fully comprehend what he meant and hurries after him hoping to to make it there on time. As Joe grasps the knob, she's beside him in a flash.

"Say it again," her voice full of command, as if a captain asking a sailor to jump off a plank.

"What?" Wanting her for so long form a far and finally coming to terms of never having her is a blow he needs time to accept, but Wren wanting him to say it again is just a drive on the hard truth.

"Say it again." The firmness of her voice is unmistaken and Joe knows that Wren is a tornado not to be messed with.

Defeat is not a familiar feeling for him but when it comes to Wren, it has been a constant one. Joe has laid all his cards down and there was nothing else to lose.

"I love you, Wren." He mutters, probably for the last time. This drug of unreciprocatedly loving someone is damaging.

"Good," she points at him, poking him in time with her single word. Pulling on the lapels of his coat, Wren shuts the door by placing herself on it and gazes up his eyes, "because I love you too, Mr. Gomez de Liaño."

His name spills from her lips like warm honey and his mouth is ready to capture every drop.

Whatever she's about to say next is muffled by Joe's lips being on hers in an instant. Exchanging short but passionate pecks, Wren places her hands on his shoulder, pulling him to her body. The added pressure just enough to mold them in a tight fit.

Leaving the premises near the escape route, they both move around the space of the room and their close proximity gives her the chance to get a whiff of his strong scent. Just like the first time, it causes the fog on her brain to start but at the same time entices her enough that it heightens all her senses.

Feeling the edge of the bed on the back of his legs, Joe takes a seat but keeps his on her waist, looking up at her towering above him.

Leaning to his level, a smile forms on her lips before cupping his cheek with her palm.

Wren's smile turns to a full on grin, just like a cat on it's way to steal and treat and Joe wonders if it is possible for her to steal his heart even more.

Lips beside his ear, she darts her tongue and circles it on the shell before sucking on the stud diamond earring.

The way her lips wrap around his skin is enough to make him hard in an instant, but Wren is in no state of stopping. Letting his skin go with a pop, she moves her lips just a unit above his rock before whispering, "Are you just going to sit there?"

Knowing she has planted the seed in his mind, Wren straightens her body and retreats with a step, carefully getting out of this reach. As she takes a second one, Joe's hands chase after her and wrap them on her waist, pulling her back to where she was previously standing.

"Not so fast, Wren." Authoritative and demanding with a hint of softness. "Eres mia ahora, yo nunca te dejaré ir." Now if there is one weakness that Wren is willing to admit, it's whenever she heard him speak his language.

Trying to cover up the funny feeling his words brought to her, Wren tries to laugh it off before lightly slapping his arm. "What does that even mean?" Mockingly rolling her eyes, pretending to be unamused.
