A/N: Henlo! Haha. So a certain someone asked me kung may kadugtong pa yung "Necklace" and itago na lang natin siya as username _faithmarchella_ 🙄
Hahaha. Kidding aside, and maybe this is the stress talking but I kinda enjoyed writing again 👉🏻👈🏻
Let's pray for our souls but mostly mine. LOL.

"Those glittering stars are such an extra but beautiful addition." Wren says to her co-maid of honor beside her as she looks around the place, making sure that is nothing short of the fairytale-esque feel they wanted to achieve.
After months of planning and sleepless nights, one of her best friends finally gets to walk down the aisle and have the wedding she always wanted. Not to mention the reception that looks like it was directly taken out of Pinterest.
Meters of cobalt tulle hang from the wire to serve as a barrier to keep the guests within the prescribed premises in the garden. Pots of yellow coreopsis scatter each corner, their bright hue a contrast to the darkness the night is bringing. To top it all off, the fairy lights which they initially thought were too big and too bright, works out now that the place is filled with guests, providing just the right amount of brightness to keep it intimate.
About to ask her opinion, Wren looks to her right to notice that she has been rambling for the past couple of minutes to no one. A quick scan on the far right confirms her suspicions, seeing her other best friend chatting up some guy. Typical and expected.
Allowing herself to also have a bit of fun, she gathers her peach dress to save it from being stepped on and heads to her favorite part of the reception, the bar.
If not for the people littered on every pathway, she would have been there in a flash but her during her walk, navigating through the unbothered guests, brings her back to how getting this venue was the top stressors of this wedding.
This hotel with the spacious garden by the bay has everything they needed, even their own flower arrangements provider, and they come in with a very affordable price. The only problem was they easily get booked. Knowing that another couple was pencil booked on their preferred date, Wren was ready to pay them just to have them move their wedding but rather, her best friend was so chill and did not mind rescheduling her wedding... thrice, just so she'd get to have her reception here.
She takes a quick glance on the couple on the dance floor. Despite not getting married on their preferred date which was their anniversary, it seems like everything turned out great. Internally laughing, she can't help but recall how she can tend to be the brizedilla of the group while the actual bride is cool af.
Wren signals for the bartender, she gives him her preferred drink before turning and resting her back on the counter. She promised herself that she wouldn't get smashed tonight but surely one drink won't hurt, just something to help hit the sheets once she gets to her room.
The soothing play of the lights can leave anyone in trance and Wren is no different. It takes her a while before she notices her hand on her chest again, slowing fondling with a metal pendant under her dress.
The mellow clink of the glass on the marble morphs with the music as she recalls back to more than six years.
One has lost count as to how many times the words, "Naga changed you'' have been exchanged in their group but the statement still stands for it is true for all of them but only in differing degrees. One unleashed her inner confidence, the other got married to the man of her dreams, and here she is, still wearing a stupid necklace from a one night stand.
