It was currently late at night when you and Kou were finishing tidying up the classroom. You both were in college, studying in your respective majors in hopes to find a good job after. You both met when you were going to academic counseling. The two of you connected quickly since none of you had a friend during your time at university. It has been at least 4 years now, you both were seniors so graduation was coming close. You knew about Kou's weird obsession and his familial background, but since nothing has happened to you, you had no reason to believe any of the stuff he says.

"You know what would be great Kou? Putting away that stupid family heirloom of yours! There's no such thing as ghosts, apparitions or whatever the hell you keep talking about!" You were a hardcore skeptic. No matter how many times Kou would attempt to show you what he's seeing, you were very close-minded about it. You didn't even want to give him a chance because you knew damn well they didn't exist.

"Come on, ______! Give me a chance! I know you think I'm crazy all the time for talking to myself and stuff, but they really are real! I'm from a family of exorcists! That has to be proof enough for you to believe that the supernatural is real!" He held onto your arm tightly as you tried to push him off. He just wouldn't let up on this stupid hobby of his. Suddenly the room began to uncontrollably shake. You lost your balance and tried to hold onto the teacher's desk. "U-Ugh!"

"______!" Kou exclaims as he grabs your hand and pulls you close to shield you from the falling debris. "What's going on!? An earthquake?!" You looked around haphazardly, trying to figure out where the door was so you both could escape. Kou quickly pushes you out the door and locks it behind him. You landed face-first onto the carpet. "Ow! Kou are you ok--...?" The hallway wasn't moving. There was no debris. You looked out at a nearby window. "Everything's...calm?" You looked back towards the door you came out of. "Kou..."

*~Inside the Classroom~*

Kou fiercely gets flung across the room, causing a loud thud to ring out as he lands on the floor. "Argh...what the hell do you want this time, you damn supernatural! I gave you three warnings to leave ______ alone, and you are not abiding by it! I didn't want to do this..." Kou pulls the umbrella covering off of his Raiteijou, sparks, and energy lighting up around his body. "I'm going to exorcise you, so you can stop bothering us!"

"AHAHAHAH! Foolish human. You think I'll obey your command just because you're an exorcist!? I've been on this plane for more than you will ever comprehend! It will take a lot more than that puny little heirloom of yours to kill me!" The supernatural stood tall in a terrifying manner, it's long and lengthy demonic fingers twitched and dripped with a substance that glowed and burned the floor. It had a large mouth spanning from its head to the center of its body. It was big enough to swallow a human whole. "That girl...Such innocence...an undirtied mind and heart...I WANT HER!!!!"

The room glowed with a mixture of greens and yellows, student desks getting flung left and right and Kou continued to dodge the barrage of them coming his way. His hands were becoming scarred, attempts at enclosing the supernatural into his spirit cell were becoming brim and his stamina begun to run out. "H-Huff...Huff...Argh!!" Long fingers pierce into his shoulder, blood streaming down his arm as he pulls away to get free. Kou's clothes were torn and his legs throbbed with intensity as he struggled to stand back up.
