It was safe to say that explaining Eddie's broken arm to his mother was unpleasant. "You! You did this!", Mrs. Kaspbrak shouted, pointing her finger at the seven tweens. "You know how fragile he is!". She carefully escorted her son to her car which was sitting in front of the Kaspbrak's house. "Someone a-attacked us, Mrs. K", Bill explained.

"No, don't try to blame everyone else!", she fumed at him. Mrs. Kaspbrak accidentally dropped her keys.
"Here let me help-", Beverly offered as she bent down to pick them up.

"Get back!", Mrs. Kaspbrak snapped before coldly staring her down. "Oh, I heard've you, Miss Marsh. I don't want a dirty girl like you touching my son". She shifted her attention to Chris, "and you, I knew you were trouble when you, your mom, and your weirdo of an aunt first moved here!".
Chris balled her fists up in anger. Not only did she hated when someone talked bad about her family, especially Lizzie. Richie put a hand on her shoulder once he noticed how angry she was.

"Mrs K, I-", Bill began, but Mrs. Kaspbrak cut him off.

"No! You're all monsters! All of you! Eddie let will not come out with you ever again", Mrs. Kaspbrak yelled before stepping in the car. Eddie sat in the passenger's seat, clutching to his broken arm in distress as his mother drove off.
Once the car sped off in to the distance, Bill turned to face the others. "I saw the well. I know where it is", he said vigorously. "We will be better prepared next time".

"No! No, next time Bill!", Stanley shouted at him. "You're insane!"

"Why? We all know that no one else will do something", Bill argued.

"Chris and Eddie were nearly killed!", Richie pointed out before pointing to Ben. "and look at this motherfucker, he's a leaking Hamburger Helper!"

"We cannot pretend that it will g-go away", replied Beverly before turning to Ben. "You said it yourself. It comes back every 27 years".

"Good! I'm going to be 40 and far away from here", replied Ben. "I thought you said that you wanted to get out of this town too".

"Because I want to run towards something. Not away"

"I'm sorry, who invited Molly Ringwald in to the group?", asked Richie. Beverly glared at him and flipped him off.

"I'm just saying, let's face facts", Richie said firmly. "Real world; Georgie is dead. We can't let it kill us too".
"Georgie is n-not dead", argued Bill.

"You couldn't save him, but you can still save yourself!"

"No, Richie. You're s-s-scared and all of us are, but t-t-take it b-back!"

Bill pushed harshly pushed Richie, prompting him to immediately push back. Then, Bill punched him in the face, nearly knocking the glasses off of his face.

"Bill!", yelled Beverly.

"Bill, what the fuck!?", shouted Chris.

Once Richie stood up and adjusted his glasses, he tried to lunged forward towards Bill while Mike and Stanley held him back. "You're just a bunch of losers! Fuck off!", he shouted.

"Rich,-!"

"You're just a bunch of losers, and you're gonna get yourselves killed!"

"Stop!", Beverly shouted, causing everyone to go silent. "This is what it wants! It wants to divide us! We were all together when we heard it. That's why we're still alive!".

"Yeah? Well, I plan to keep it that way", Richie said sharply before pushing past Bill. He started to grab his bike and leave. "I'm out of here", Chris mumbled as she started to walk away as well.

"Chris, wait", Beverly began.

"No, Bev, this shit is dangerous and you know it!", Chris argued before l shifting her focus to Bill. "and Stanley was right, Bill. You've become so obsessed with killing It that you don't even think about your friends' safety! I'm sorry, but you can count me out. I'd rather move to another state".

She stormed off and grabbed her bike before catching up to Richie. "Richie, wait!", she called out as she got closer to him.

"What? Are you going to give me another bullshit excuse not to leave?", he asked bitterly.

"No, of course not"

"Oh. Sorry" he sighed. The two of them continued to walk down the street, making their way down to Chris' house. Understandably, neither of them wanted to talk about the clown nor the Neibolt house. "Are you still going to Stanley's Bar Mitzvah?", she asked.
"Yeah".
