Bonding

I heard Haku and Zabuza outside the house so I went to open the door for them. Haku put Zabuza on his bed and pulled the covers over him. Zabuza won't be able to move for a week.

I was guarding the house the whole day and when Gato came, I was the one to break his arm when he approached Zabuza. He was complaining about him loosing and was about to hit him I think, but I bit his arm and made sure to bite hard enough for the bone to shatter into pieces. One of his bodyguards was about to kill me for it, but Haku protected me, letting out a lot of bloodlust and threatening them.

I found out that since I don't have hands to make seals it's harder for me to control elemental chakra, but once I know how, it's tremendously easier and I can make it into any shape I want. However, it's really exhausting as I need precise control which requires full concentration.

Now one of my challenges is to make Zabuza into a softie, let me rephrase that, I want him to bond with Haku and me, so when the time comes, I can save them both from their horrible fate. It's not impossible, so I want to give it a go. I've got a week.

Day 1

It's morning, I woke with Haku and helped him prepare breakfast and then I brought it to Zabuza. He thanked me and I went back to the kitchen to bring him something to drink. Haku praised me, gave me a treat and then helped me bring Zabuza his drink. Then Haku sat down and ate his share of breakfast. They don't have meat in the town, so I decided to hunt something for myself and the two. 

I went into the Forest of Chakra and caught seven rabbits, I ate three and saved four for Zabuza and Haku. Zabuza is a big guy, he eats a lot. I had to hide because I accidentally ran into Kakashi and the three kids. They must have started their training today. 

I was going to stealthily slip past them, but damn Kakashi and his good senses. He sensed me and threw a kunai at me. To evade it, I jumped up which made me visible to all four of them. They turned around, wondering why Kakashi threw a kunai and saw me.

Naruto: "Aoi!" he immediately charged at me, but I dodged him and slapped him with my tail. Then Sasuke tried to catch and tie me up, I dodged him as well and swept him off his feet. Sakura didn't do anything, which was good because these two were already troublesome alone. 

I ran up to Sakura and she immediately started trembling, as I thought. Then I ran up to Naruto and looked him in the eyes, he stood still, not really scared, so I growled and he went to a defensive stance, as I thought. These two are scared of me. No point in testing Kakashi or Sasuke, because they both have seen worse.

Kakashi: "Aoi! Get back here!"

I'm glad that Kakashi couldn't chase after me because I'm not sure if I would be able to escape him. After their failed attempts at catching me, I went back to Zabuza and Haku.

Third POV

Kakashi: "Aargh, he won't listen, and you two didn't help it" Naruto was frustrated for letting the fear of that day control him. Sakura felt guilty but couldn't help herself, she didn't have a bond with Aoi as Naruto did.

I came back with the four rabbits and got lots of praises from Haku and one small from Zabuza. Whenever Zabuza needed something I would quickly do it for him. First, he was surprised by my sudden change but got used to it.

When it was time to go to sleep I jumped onto the bed with him, he pushed me off... I whined for a bit but then gave up and went to Haku, who used me as a pillow. Such a difference in treatment.

Day 2

Helped with breakfast again. I caught a deer for lunch and dinner today. This time I safely evaded team 7. I don't know what special thing to do to make Zabuza like me, however, I instinctively feel like this is good.

We had some visitors, who weren't visitors at all but assassins. They were from Hidden Mist. I fought them and it was quite easy, compared to my fight with Zabuza, yeah. I didn't know what to do with their bodies so I dragged them inside, which made both of them laugh and praise me. Is that good? Haku disposed of them later and gave me a bath.

Nighttime again, I went to Zabuza, jumped onto his bed and got pushed off. Went to Haku who immediately grabbed me and hello I'm a pillow.

Day 3

Haku and I went to gather herbs after eating breakfast, but I left him for a bit, knowing he would meet Naruto. I took the opportunity to hunt, this time a boar, successfully.

When we came back I felt weird, like a small sting in my chest. I shrugged it off though and tried not to think about it.

Time to sleep, I had a whole different strategy today. I stood next to the bed for good several minutes, completely silent, to see if he's sleeping. then I carefully got on the bed. Zabuza put his hand on my side and was about to push me off again but he stopped and then he put the hand under his pillow and left me alone. I did it! I couldn't contain my happiness and started jumping on the bed. With full force, he kicked me off. Mission failed, we'll get them next time. So I went to sleep with Haku.

Day 4

Today I didn't go out to hunt. I stayed with Zabuza the whole day because I feel weird. I feel weird and it's gradually getting worse and it's making me a bit agitated. I practised with elemental chakra to ease my mind. 

Zabuza tried to get out of the bed today, his movements were a bit slow but still amazing that he can move so early.

Nighttime. I jumped onto Zabuza's bed and quickly curled up, falling asleep. He didn't push me off.

Day 5

Zabuza was the one to make breakfast today. I had too much pent up energy, so I and Haku sparred for half a day. We froze the whole area as a result. I was exhausted and slept until the next day.

Day 6

Zabuza is pretty much fine now so first thing in the morning after breakfast was fighting, but I didn't eat breakfast, knowing I would throw it up. I actually managed to corner him for a bit, but then he turned the tables and with one monstrously strong kick I was sent against a tree. Tree abuse. I would have been normally fine after a hit like this. I've got a sturdy body now thanks to Zabuza, however, since I've been feeling weird, it's like my whole body is twisting and now I'm down after a hit I was fine with before. Zabuza noticed and told me that the fight is over. I couldn't get up, so he picked me up and carried me inside and put me on his bed. He told Haku to take a look at me. They were talking about me, I could hear the shock in their voices but I was slowly drifting off to sleep, so I didn't hear what exactly they said.
