Will Of Fire

Three hours in and I couldn't move. The temperature was still rising. I was still able to stand an hour ago when the temperature was still at 55°C(131°F or 328.15°K).

It angers me that they know my weakness that I will never be able to overcome.

All I could do right now is just endure it. I'm confident that they wouldn't let me die. They want to weaken me, break my will and tame me. I will not give then the satisfaction of achieving either of those things!

I will become strong enough to stand side by side with Naruto and help him protect our comrades. These two will not block my way for long. They better watch out or I will seize every little chance to escape. After 30 hours the temperature lowered so quickly, I felt like I was stabbed by thousands of needles and I couldn't move. Kabuto had me dragged away into my room, where I could finally relax.

Meanwhile in Konoha:

Naruto was devastated when he woke up and found out that, not only he couldn't stop Sasuke from leaving, but Aoi had been kidnapped as well. He went mad when he heard that it was Orochimaru behind it. His red chakra was leaking, fortunately Jiraya managed to calm him down, saying that they would rescue both of them. He was packed in a minute and ready to go and rescue Aoi however, Jiraya stopped him. He wouldn't be able to stand up to someone like Kabuto, let alone Orochimaru and all of his followers.

Bitter his words were, yet Naruto couldn't disagree with him. He swallowed his desire to save his wolf friend and chose to go on a long journey with Jiraya to become stronger.

Unbeknownst to Naruto, Aoi's disappearance was far more serious. The village's security and tracking system were questioned and a number of "retrieval" ANBU teams were sent after Aoi. All ended up in failure.

Zabuza and Haku were given a permit to leave the village for half a year to search for Aoi and Sasuke.

The village became very quiet and peaceful, however also sad. Everyone was motivated and focused on their training after recent events.

Next day the training started. Orochimaru wanted me to kill on order and develop combination attacks and jutsus with Sasuke. For weeks I didn't cooperate and was tortured in many ways. They anticipated I wouldn't obey right away and they didn't mind it because torture was an excuse for them to make me stronger for their liking.

Three months after being caught, I was still somewhat holding out but my will to fight has almost run out. Orochimaru was getting impatient and cross, which was not a good thing.

Then one day, they moved me from my usual grey concrete prison to a room which was oddly familiar. It was filled with vegetation and had a small river flowing through it.

I noticed I wasn't alone in there, I sensed my kind. An adult wolf and three pups came out of a den. The adult wolf had a hazelnut coat and lime green eyes. It was obvious she was their mother because they took after her. All three had coats in the shades of brown and their eyes were yellow or green.

The small ones were very curious about me and would have run to me if the mother didn't stop them. They must have been born here, to be so careless. I lay down as a sign of peace, to calm her down. She calmed down and greeted me with a sniff. I did the same with her and then the pups. A week passed by without anything happening. I played with the pups and shared my adventures with them and they shared their information about the place. This is where I was born, raised and scarred. 

Remembering it makes me boil with anger.

One of the puppies poked me with its nose and we went back to playing. I became part of the family and I've grown to love them as my own. They were so pure, unlike my mother and siblings, they have never been experimented on, which is kind of odd. I gave them names, the mother is Hazel and the puppies are called Amber, Rusty and Ginger.

Hazel is a very calm wolf, even when the pups are misbehaving, she wouldn't get angry and would teach them what they did wrong calmly and quietly. 

Amber is a fierce little warrior, he always initiates the fights and is very brave. He was the one to run up to me when we first met.

Rusty isn't one for fights but he's a big adventurer. We always find him in the weirdest of places for which he always gets scolded.

Ginger is a bit unusual, she stays close to Hazel unless Amber provokes her, then she fights with him and always ends up winning. She's very strong.

When we were all asleep Orochimaru came in and observed us. I noticed and woke up, but he gave me a warning look, not to try anything.

Orochimaru: "How do you like your new home? Oh, wait... It isn't new" He smirked devilishly.

Aoi: *growl*

Orochimaru: "You better listen to my orders from now on, or I don't know what would happen to these unstained little wolves" 

He's enjoying himself too much, threatening me. I have lost this round, I unknowingly let them near me and he planned it all along. The next day I explained to the wolves that I have to leave for a bit. They were sad, but I couldn't do anything about it.

I was taken to a laboratory where Kabuto, Orochimaru, Sasuke and two subordinates were waiting for me. Kabuto put a collar around my neck that lead to a chain leash. He handed it to Sasuke, who only scoffed and threw it at one of the subordinates, a really tall, broad-shouldered man with pale white skin, grey bloodshot eyes and purple hair in a bun. He tugged on the leash and I was going to kill him for it on the spot if Orochimaru didn't cough to warn me.

Kabuto: "Your mission is to assassin a scientist in the Hidden Cloud Village and retrieve his research data on animal splicing and chakra infusion"

Sasuke: "The hell you need that for?"

Orochimaru only looked at me and then chuckled. That gave Sasuke all the answers he needed and didn't want.

Kabuto: "Here you have three vials with strong anesthetics, dip a kunai or a needle in it should Aoi ever try to escape or harm you"

He handed them to Sasuke and Sasuke again threw them at the other guy. This is going to be a long and annoying trip.
