Alice POV
Sometimes I feel panic overwhelming me. I have a lot of pressure on me because of the final fight. This pressure acts as the best mechanism that allows me to relieve all my stress through fighting.  I may not win this fight but I know my reputation would be increased and I would have $1 million under my name. This would allow me to buy a house for me Leo and Adrina to live in so that we leave this chaotic place.

The final competition obviously has prize money if one of us were to win. The loser of the fight gets to take home $1 million and the winner takes home $10 million. Either way, this money is my ticket out of this horrible training facility.

Alessandro has trained me to the point that by the end of the sessions I am dripping with sweat on the floor aching for oxygen. Alessandro said I would get used to training over time but overall, I did not because I was exhausted at the end. The training was a lot for me but I had the motivation in my mind that I am doing this all for Leo and Adrina.

"Punch harder! Make it your strength", Alessandro kept on shouting in my ear. I punched harder but the unsatisfied look on Alessandro's face told me that he is still unhappy about my punching. My body could only do so much.

We were both in the rooftop training facility. Alessandro was training me for the fight he wanted me to be extra strong and capable for this fight. He has been training me crazy. Tomorrow is the coronation of the next Ruler of the Mafia meaning the competition.

"Alessandro, I'm not that strong!", I protested at him. My body was in too much pain.

Alessandro looked me right in the eye as if he was staring into my soul "You are strong you just have to believe in yourself".

I disagreed with his statement "If I was strong I would have beaten Snapper in the ring. But guess what! I didn't. I tell you, Alessandro, that the only reason I am going into this fight is to lose".

"What do you think that $1 million would do for you, huh? It'll only give you a house the rest of the expenses would have to be made by working. But guess what! You, don't have a legal job to provide properly. You'll be back in the ring fighting for money. However, with that $10 million you will have the ticket out of this Mafia life. Tomorrow is your ticket out. No more having to panic."

Alessandro's statement brought a weird kind of feeling within my heart. His eyes showed that he cared about me deeply. But how could he show me such devotion, when he loved someone else.

"Alessandro, let's keep it clear you are just my trainer, not my life coach. I know what I am doing, with my life so there is no reason for you to intervene", I had to be cold towards him even though I had weird feelings for him he was still my trainer, who has a girlfriend. I would never want to break the girl code.

"Fine, fine whatever. Carry on, with the punching then", before I started to punch I could see in Alessandro's blue eyes that he was hurt. His pain weirdly affected me too. I just brushed my thoughts aside and started to punch again.

...

This Mafia "Mors Vivificantem", is a peculiar Mafia their own leader has not shown his face in a decade. That's very peculiar because my fake father has not shown his face in his Mafia in seventeen years.

The coronation day is, where the current Mafia Leader's son is taking over the Mafia. It's going to be an arena full of dangerous men. The Mafia "Mors Vivificantem" have invited their allies over too. The only thing I'm scared about is if my fake father or Mikhail attend.

What if they attend the coronation day? What if they see me fighting? Am I going to get the worse beating of ... my life. No, no, no I need to be strong. I'm not naive anymore.
