I'm sitting near the window,
Gazing outside.
There's water everywhere,
The rain pouring on the slide.
I love this feeling,
The excitement it brings.
The sound of thunder,
Like music to my limbs.
I love this smell,
Like a scented candle.
The light from the lamp glows,
Resting on the mantle.
This pitter-patter,
Has a certain charm to it.
Like the wind chime singing,
With low notes of prayer.
The sun is coming up,
So is the rainbow.
The glow it creates,
Makes my heart pick a rhythmic pace.
