Greetings
Elana pov:
( arriving at college)
I walked into the college. It was pretty fancy, but also old, with lots antiques like at my grandmas house. As I was looking at all of the stuff I ran into a guy, and my stuff went everywhere. What a great way to start off college I thought to myself. Then a handsome boy kneeled to help me pick up me books, and it was Dustin! "Hello I think I saw you on the plane," he said in his very attractive voice. "Yeah I think so too" I said. "So, I never caught your name, would you mind telling me?" He asked curious. "Well, if you must know, it's Elana, Elana freeman." " nice to meet you Elana." He greeted me. There was an awkward silence. Like a looong silence. Then he asked "Can I walk you to your room, I've already unpacked, so I can help you, that is if you want." "Sure" I said enthusiastically yet trying to act cool. He chuckled to that. But it wasn't like a laugh I've ever heard before. It was both husky and sincere. And I loved it.
While I was daydreaming about his voice he was already halfway down the hallway. "wait up!" I called. " Then hurry up slow poke!!" He said playfully. We headed to the elevator. We made small talk like "how do you like it here" and "how are you?" And all of that corny stuff. Until we finally got to my dorm. Once we entered I was surprised to realize that it was HUGE. It even had a fireplace. It had 2 full beds on each side of the room. "Wow" I said surprised. "You must be rooming with Brittany. You know Brittany Auberry?" He asked. "No, should I?" I asked confused. "You probably shouldn't. Her dad owns this college. I went out with her in high school. She is like the school queen bee. A total priss." He said. "Oh, we'll okay then." I said trying to act sad when really on the inside I was jumping for joy because that practically gives away that he's single. "So should we unpack?" He asked. "Sure". We ended up not really unpacking though. We were mostly talking. You know about classes and stuff. Until it turned into a game of 21 questions. I figured out that he is in fact SINGLE, his favorite color is blue, and he loves dolphins. Interesting. By the time we finished talking it was 11:30 p.m. 30 minutes till curfew. "Well, I guess I better get going" he said standing up. "Okay, see you tomorrow?" I asked. "Sure, and sorry I wasn't much help unpacking."he said before leaving.
