Chapter 5

Jealousy
Elana POV:
I was so glad it was Saturday. I slept in till 2:00. I hadn't slept that well since I'd moved to England. The time change has been killing me. I also hate how cold it is here. It was always warm and sunny in Florida. And the only warm clothes I have are jeans and sweatshirts. (Also a jacket, but it's a sweat jacket so it doesn't count.)
I suddenly remembered that I kissed Dustin last night. I needed to see him. Figure out if we are an item, or if the whole thing was a mistake. I hope it wasn't. I also just realized I hadn't met Brittany yet. It's not that I want to meet her or anything but, I want to know if she is really what everyone says she is. Is it that weird to be curious. Then, I heard a knock on the door. I got up to go see who it was, and of course, it was Dustin.
"Hey, we need to talk." He said.
"I agree. So are we an item?" I asked.
" Do you want us to be?" He retreated.
" Do you?" I asked back.
"Yeah. I do." He said hesitantly. "But if you don't, then I changed my mind, I don't want to." He said.
"Well, I do." I said smiling.
"So, where should our first official date be?" He asked.
"We already had it remember?" I said jokingly.
"Then, where should our second date be?" He asked.
"I don't know, your the guy, figure something out." I said. "But I would like to go to the movies," I said.
"Okay, the movies it is. Tomorrow at 8:00." He said before leaving.

(Sunday night)

I was all dressed. I went shopping yesterday for warmer clothes, and I got some really cute clothes. I was wearing a white lace dress, with a red thin belt, white flats, and a red sweater. I curled my hair and was ready. I think I was a little too dressed up for the movies but, i wanted to look great.

At exactly 8:02 Dustin knocked on the door. I opened it up, and he was dressed pretty well too. "You look great" he said staring at me.
"You too." I said.
"Shall we go?" He said holding his arm out for me to grab. I walked beside him and started down the halls.
By the time we got there I was hungry. He ordered us a popcorn and soda to share. We grabbed our tickets (we were seeing "the woman in black 2") and went to go get seats. We walked in and there was practically no one there. So we sat at the very top and started watching the previews. Once the movie started, I started to get nervous because I hate scary movies. But every time a scary part came I hid in Dustin's chest and he held me close. Usually I wouldn't do something so cheesy, but I kind of liked it.

When the movie was over he drove us back to campus and took me to my dorm. We sat on my bed. "I had a great time tonight." I said smiling.
"Me too." He said smiling back. We both leaned in and started kissing. Then I heard the door open and slam shut. It was Brittany. "What the- Dustin... What are you doing in my dorm with this girl?" She said.
"This girl, is his girlfriend. And I'm your roommate."
"Ummm... I gotta go." Dustin said before storming out.
"Listen here and listen good." She said. "Dustin is my property. So BACK OFF." She said defensively.
"First off, you can't own someone. And secondly, he is over you and dating me. so get over yourself." I said back. She stormed off and slammed the door. And to think I was going to have a year without drama.
