December 20, 10:10 a.m.

The sky was surprisingly bright considering it was late December.

The sun shown strong through the window and landed on Louis' face, waking him up. The older boys hands naturally found their way to his hair and began massaging his aching head.

Louis' body turned towards the clock sitting on the hotels night stand and read the time.

"Oh shit." He mumbled to himself as he jumped from his bed and began to grab clothes.

In the shower last night, Louis made a promise to himself. He promised to fix things with Harry. No matter what. He wouldn't let what they had go, even if they weren't dating. Louis cared for him to much. All he wanted was to feel the younger boys skin. To gaze into his emerald green eyes. To see his cheeks rise and form dimples when he smiled. All Louis wanted was Harry.

After the older boy spent some good time picking out the "perfect outfit," the clock read 10:53 a.m.

Panic overcame Louis, he really hoped Harry hadn't gone to breakfast yet, he needed to talk to the younger boy. Louis couldn't go another second thinking that Harry hated him.

With that thought floating in the older boys mind, Louis ripped open his hotel room door and practically sprinted down the hall towards Harry's room.

"Please please please..." Louis anxiously mumbled as he found himself standing in front of Harry's room.

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

The silence was deafening. Louis stood there, slowly running out of hope. Just as the older boy was turning around to give up, he heard the faint click of the door opening. Louis whipped his head around, eyes filled with regret and guilt.

"Harry!"

The younger boy just stood there, avoiding eye contact with Louis. Harry's hair was completely disheveled, it looked as if he had just woken up from a very restless sleep. He was wearing a old, ratty T-shirt along with fluffy pants. Harry looked miserable, but still beautiful in Louis' eyes. The younger boy began to close the door, clearly not wanting to talk, but Louis stopped him.

"Wait. Please wait." The older boy slid his hand into the doors crack so it wouldn't completely shut.

After another long moment of unbearable silence, Harry spoke up. His voice was raspy and low.

"Why should I?"

Louis sighed a breath of relief.

"I just want to talk...please."

Harry responded by opening the door and reluctantly inviting Louis inside. Once the older boy was inside and Harry closed the door behind him, Louis didn't waste anytime getting to the point.

"I'm sorry. I'm so so sorry." The older boy paused for a moment, searching for the right words.

Louis walked towards Harry and looked straight into those eyes he absolutely adored. It took everything in him to not get lost in the ocean of green.

"Harry, what I did and what I said was wrong. It was cruel. I was just so angry at Simon and I took it out on you. It wasn't right of me, but I'm only human. That doesn't excuse what I did, but I want you to know that I'll do anything. Anything to hold you in my arms again. To kiss you again. To be yours again...."

Harry stood there chewing on his lip, his eyes locked on Louis.

"Louis. You know I-I really c-c-care about yo-you-"

Harry tried to keep it together, but he couldn't. He couldn't finish a sentence without letting sobs escape his mouth. As soon as the first tear escaped the younger boys eyes, Louis couldn't help but rush towards Harry capturing him in a tight, comforting embrace.

"Shhhh baby shhh. You're okay." Louis' hands rubbed the younger boys back as Harry released loud sobs into Louis' neck.

"L-L-Louis-s." Harry blubbered.

The sound of Harry's pain made the older boys eyes glaze over with tears of his own. It hurt Louis to see and hear Harry like this. Especially when he was the cause of the boys pain. How could he have ever hurt such a sweet creature? How could he have ever hurt his love? How could he have ever hurt Harry?

"I just want you to know," Louis whispered.

"Know that you don't need any label. I know last night I said otherwise, but I was wrong. So so wrong. You can be gay, you can be straight, you can be anything in between, or you can be you. You can be your charming, beautiful self. You can be amazing, because that's what you are Harry. Amazing. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise."

Harry let out another sob before lifting his head up and meeting his eyes with Louis' red, crying blue orbs.

"You're amazing." Louis whispered again, as if he was trying to convince Harry that it was true.

The younger boy slid his hands down to the small of Louis back and passionately pushed his lips against Louis'.

Both of their lips tasted like tears which only made the kiss feel more intimate.

Harry whimpered into Louis' mouth as the older boys hands explored Harry's body slowly.

Eventually they pulled away, gasping for air. Harry was holding Louis close as they both took a moment to examine each other's beauty.

"Louis..?" Harry eventually sighed.

"Yeah?"

Harry looked down at the ground as his face began to flush.

"Don't be embarrassed. You can say anything." Louis said as he lifted the younger boys chin up with his finger.

"I-maybe we should, no. Wait not no, yes. Well only if you want to. I'm not going to force you into anything because that would be totally-"

"Harry." Louis spoke, smiling fondly.

"Oh. Sorry."

"Whatever it is, you don't need to be ashamed. Not around me."

Harry took a deep breath. "Be my boyfriend?"

Louis' eyes widened, his heart began to race, his eyes began to water.

"Hell yes. Yes yes yes." Louis screamed before pushing their lips together in a strong, knee wobbling kiss.

Harry pulled back and pushed his forehead into Louis', giggling.

"I'm so happy..."

"So am I."

In that moment, everything was perfect again.... But nothing stays that way forever.
