When they arrived Mabel jumped out of the car like an excited 7 year old, which made Robbie roll his eyes once again. It was so embarrassing. On the other hand Dipper slowly got out of the car, trying not to attract Robbie's unwanted attention as he seemed to be staring at Mabel.
Once they were all out of the car they headed inside. Dipper grabbed Mabels arm and dragged her as fast as he could towards the candy section but to his disappointment Robbie was not far behind them, browsing through the snack section on his way.
"Mabel why did you have to offer for us to go with him?" He whispered as they walked.
"Why not?"
"Mabel don't you get it? He hates me! I hate him!" He squealed and Mabel giggled. She looked back at him and her eyes softened. He still looked sad, but no one seemed to notice.
She turned around and faced dipper as they finally arrived to the candy isle. "Dipper you're overreacting. He seems like he's just minding his own business so just let it go!"
Dipper rolled his eyes and crossed his arms, waiting for Mabel to pick out her favorite candy. She gathered a bunch and turned to look at Robbie who had finally reached them. He had a bunch of snacks in the basket he was carrying. He looked down at her and the candy.
"What?" He asked. He knew perfectly what Mabel wanted but he wasn't going to let her waist money on stupid candy.
Mabel just looked at him and then the basket. Making him shrug and raise an eyebrow at her, signaling that he was still 'clueless' as to what she wanted.
"Let me put the candy in the basket" she said and Robbie, expecting the answer, immediately responded with a no.
"What? Why not?" She whined which caused Robbie to cringe.
"I'm not waisting money on candy." He said, still looking down at her, putting one hand in the pocket of his hoodie.
"But you'll spend it on snacks? It's basically the same thing but candy is sweet!"
"I'm not letting you put them in the basket." He argued back.
"Yes you are! Gruncle gave you that money, it's not even yours!"
"Yeah and it's not a lot!" He said as his tone got more annoyed.
Dipper just watched those two with a confused expression.
"You're buying them!"
"No I'm not."
"Yes you are!"
"No."
"Yes!"
"No."
"Yes!"
"No!"

Robbie ended up buying the candy. As they sat on the curb outside of the supermarket, he drifted back to the event before. It really shocked him how Mabel was the first to actually convince him to change his mind. No one has been able to do that.
He looked to his left where Mabel sat and ate her candy. She was happy and payed no attention to anything but the sweet chocolate in her hands. Robbie didn't know for how long he was staring but at some point he heard Dipper clear his throat, which made his eyes snap next to Mabel, where Dipper looked at Robbie with a mixed emotion of confusion and anger.
Robbie payed no attention and glanced at Mabel once more before getting up and unlocking the car. "We're going back."
"What but I'm not done!" Mabel says as she takes a bite of her chocolate.
"Just eat it in the car." Robbie get in the driver's seat as he waits for the twins to get in.
When they're all settled, they start heading back to the shack, Mabel's carefreeness being on Robbies mind the whole way back.
