Mabel never ended up getting that glass of water. She didn't mind though. She didn't mind having to sit and comfort Robbie. She felt bad for him and she wanted to help him.

The next morning Mabel woke up and looked towards dippers bed, which was empty. She panicked and quickly stood up, fearing the worst. She ran down the stairs, almost tripping and ran to the kitchen, meeting two pair of eyes.

The angry staring competition was interrupted by the shaking girl as they both snapped their heads to look at her. "Mabel what happened are you ok?" Dipper asked as he stood up.
Robbie also stood up and saw Dipper turn his head to look at him with confusing before going back to his sister.

She looked down and placed a hand on her head. She seemed to be stuck in time as both of the boys looked at her with a lot of confusion. She then let out a breath of relief and put on a fake smile, looking back up to them.

"Phew I thought you guys were eating breakfast without me!"

"My god Mabel, you scared the crap out of me! It's noon, it's past breakfast time."

As the twins kept talking Robbie had an unnerving feeling in his stomach. Her smile wasn't genuine, and he would know. He had faked plenty of smiles in the past so he was quick to spot one. He dismissed it though, thinking that it wasn't the right time to mention it.

As they ate lunch on the couch as watched a movie (lunch being the snacks they had bought yesterday), Dipper sat up to go to the bathroom, leaving Mabel and Robbie alone.

"Hey Mabel," Robbie spoke up and Mabel quickly looked at him, with visible fear in her eyes. Robbie understood that she was scared that he cought on to her so he decided to again, not say anything. Instead of not saying anything and leaving her feeling that he was acting suspicious, he quickly made some bullshit up.

"Don't tell anyone what happened yesterday."

She immediately nodded and looked back at the movie. He watched her every move. What had made her so scared before?

"Robbie," she said, "how can I help you feel better?"

"What? You don't have to make me feel better."

"But I want to. That's what friends are for."

Friends? Robbie didn't do friends. Not after what happened last week. He got up and started to walk out the front door, the memory having a negative effect on him. Right before he closed it, he told her;

"Who ever said we're friends?"
