Chapter 3 | Surprise Announcement?

Tonight we have our weekend game night. After a long day of meetings with Amanda, I just want to go sleep, but everyone is going to be coming over in about twenty minutes. I was contemplating on whether I should break the news to them tonight or just wait it out for a while. I already have a feeling that Jacob would pester me about telling them, but I just think I should wait a little bit longer. My concentrated train of thought was interrupted by the intercom to our gate. Jacob went over, answered it and buzzed whoever it was, in so they could pull into the driveway. He then opened the door and in walked my older sister, Chanel, and Diggy alongside my older brother, Ray, with his fianceé, Amina.

"Hola, mi amor," Chanel greeted me, pulling me into a hug. 

"What's up chiquita?" 

"Nothing really, just been really busy as always." 

"Rizzyyyy!!!" Ray yelled, as if I was all the way across the damn street. 

"Boy, I'm right here. Why the hell you gotta be yellin' like that for?" 

"Aww I'm sorry, baby sis," he hugged me, squeezing the life out of me. 

"Ray, get off of her," Amina giggled. "You look like you're gonna kill her!" 

"That's what I was aiming for," he smirked. 

"You little rugrat," I chuckled, as I playfully  punched him in the stomach. 

"Says the one that's been five-foot-two since Junior year in high school." 

"Oh whatever," I rolled my eyes. "But where's everyone else?" 

"Who knows," Diggy shrugged as he stuffed his face with chips. 

"Damn babe," Chanel exclaimed. "Save some for everyone else!" 

"What, I didn't eat before we left home and I'm hungry!"

The intercom rang again and I went over to answer it. It was Craig, and I'm guessing everyone else, that were trying to get in. I buzzed them in and opened the door, waiting for them to come in. Afterwards, everyone was here and we all settled in and just shit-talked for a while.

"I have an idea," Ray started. "How about we play Never Have I Never." 

"Hell yeah! That was the shit back in the day!" my cousin, Jayde, exclaimed. 

"I see someone's excited about playing," Jawan smirked. 

"Oh shut up," she blushed. 

"Aight so let's play. I'll start," Jacob suggested. "Never Have I Never-" 

"Wait, do we have to take off clothes or take shots?" I asked. 

"We're taking shots of course!" Diggy exclaimed. "Even though I really want to see some of that..good good my baby have underneath there." 

"Ew y'all little nasties! Please keep this PG-13," I said. 

"Oh whatever," Chanel laughed. 

"Babe you know you can't drink anymore, right," Jake whispered in my ear. 

"Yeah I know," I sighed. "I guess I'll be the only one drinking ginger-ale." 

"Aight so let me get the Hennessy and get this shit staaarted!" Ray shouted. "And I'm starting first." 

"Ray while you're in there, can you get me a bottle of ginger-ale and a cup of ice," I asked. 

"I gotchu," he responded, grabbing the Hennessy bottle, shot glasses and my ginger-ale then walking back into the living room, sitting in his spot. "Aight so let's start. Never Have I Never....kissed the same sex."
