(Here are some important details: This is Nate from the earlier uncharted games when he was a total player, a bit cockier, and he is not with Elena yet! This is a universe where Rafe, Nadine, Sam, and Nathan are all still semi-cool. You are Elena's sister as well.)

I trekked up the rocky trail, following Nathan as I made loud heaving breaths. Every time I breathed out, a white cloud blew out of my mouth. Nathan walked in front of me and observing me. "You uh... need a quick break back there smokey? You are starting to sound like Sam." He remarked, slowing down to walk beside me. I stopped completely, putting my hand on my chest unable to speak. "Har...dee...fucking...har," I had managed to puff out as my chest heaved up and down. Nathan took his backpack off, unhooking the canteen of water off it and offering it to me. "Stay hydrated, this place isn't very far."

"Jeez, you are starting to sound like my high-school gym teacher." I scoffed, snatching the circular black canteen from him, opening it and gulping nearly all of it. I wiped the excess water from my lips, my panting ceasing to normal. I put the cap bag onto the jug, handing it back to him. He went to take a sip but grunted, opening the cap to pour out the drop that I had left him. "Gee thanks..." Nathan rolled his eyes, putting the cap back onto the canteen, hooking it back onto his pack and throwing his bag over his shoulders.

"You could've drank that! You wasted that drop." I bundled my jacket around my shoulders, shivering more. "Damn why is Greece so c-cold?" I shivered, my teeth chattering lightly as I wrapped my arms around myself. "Just look at the view, isn't it so gorgeous?" Nathan looked over at me, a smirk planted on his stupid face. "I will not hesitate to punch you, we are resting, not taking a break for flirting, jerk-off," I muttered, but decided to admire my surroundings.

The path we are on is a pebbly dirt road, that hurts to go up. Weeds and other vines crept up the stone fence that protected people from going into the livestock enclosures. Along the way, we saw a lot of odd-looking livestock to which Nate informed me were Greek Shorthorn cattle, and a cute twisty horned goat called Booted Goats. It was kind of concerning how much he knew about Greek livestock...

Nathan saw the worried look on my face, quickly informing me that when he was in the catholic orphanage he read various books, one of them being cattle and livestock around the world. It had just happened to stick with him. We had started to hike again, slower this time. Nathan hiked behind me, putting his hand on my back for support which made me look back at him in suspicion. As far as the eye could see, there were hills covered by long wheat-like grasses. The animals grazed the grasses lazily, chewing their curd as they looked up every now and then when we had passed them.

Eventually, we crossed a very old bridge that was made of dark wood. Under the bridge a river that gurgled that ran over grey and white stones. The water was very clear, and each time it ran over a rock or pebble it had a frothy white tone to it. Even some orange fish I didn't recognize swam in the river. When we crossed the bridge, Nate made a very abrupt left turn to go off of the trial. Confused, but not questioning I followed him down the steep path. We continued, snowy mountains coming into view. "We aren't going up there are we?" I questioned because I didn't think my body could've handled that much exercise.

The male stopped, looking around as if to survey his area. "Nah, I don't even think I could make that distance... we are here to keep in shape and for a little vacation right? Not to be in a complete and utter hell," He pulled a blanket out of his backpack when he set it on the grassy bank, laying it down onto the riverside.

"For me? Aw, you are too much-" I started, sticking my tongue out at him. "Actually it's for the both of us," Nathan remarked, sitting on the blanket and offering me his hand. I placed my hand in his, he closed his fingers around my hand and helped me sit on the red plaid blanket. The only sound present was the gurgling water over the stones and pebbles. Cicadas chided, setting the ambiance even more. A couple of frogs croaked, breaking the silence between us.

"What time is it?" Nathan questioned, glancing over at me. I flicked my watch over on my wrist so we could both see it. "Its 6:42 p.m. What are you gonna turn in to a wolf at the sight of a moon?" I snickered at the thought of Nathaniel Drake turning into a damn werewolf. He simply shook his head, looking back up at the grassy plains of Greece. "Just wait and you'll see why I took you here,"

It was almost night time, the sun left a pinkish-purple glow over the sky making the clouds a pretty magenta color. I realized what he was talking about. Suddenly, from the tan and green wispy grasses, what seemed like millions of glowing bugs flew up from them. "Fireflies..." I murmured, my eyes wide and filled with wonder as I watched them float above our heads.

I caught sight of Nathan's face who looked just as amazed as I did. That's when I felt something very uncomfortable under my butt, and Nathan tilted his head, puzzled why I had a weird look on my face. I stood up, pulling the blanket away from where I was sitting. "What's wrong?" he asked, and when I pulled the blanket I saw what I was sitting on. I picked it up, scrunching my nose at the object. "I was sitting on a coin... did you lose this?" I showed him the coin after I fixed the blanket and sat back next to him.

Nate took it in his hand, setting it down onto his palm. He used a finger to trace the engraves of the silver coin. "No... I've never seen anything like this. It's not Greece currency, shit I can't see... We should probably head home soon," his voice was quiet, he reluctantly stood up gesturing for me to do the same. The cicadas and frogs were becoming louder as Nathan and I folded the blanket and put it back into his pack.

(time skip! cause im a lazy son-of-a-bitch)

By the time we made it to the hotel we were both worn out, and it was pitch dark outside. We stopped upon this worn down cobblestone one-story building. I looked at Nathan and he looked at me with the same look on my face. Then, we hraded inside the spooky looking building.

Nathan closed the door and set his heavy bag down with a thud. I sat on the bed, bouncing lightly on it. The room was much different than it looked on the outside. The bed's comforter had red roses all over it and had a golden background. The wallpaper was floral, matching the comforter. It gave the room a lighter happier feel to it.

There was a giant mirror in front of the bed, so you could watch yourself sleep? I shook my head at the weird thought and looked over at Nathan who was taking stuff to shower out of his bag. "Hey, Nathan? Why did you get a room with only one bed?" I inquired, anxious about the thought.

"That was all that was left... do you want me to sleep on the floor?" Nathan continued to take his change of clothes out. "No... I just hope you don't snore very loudly..." I sighed, looking into my own red and black backpack. It was smaller than Nathan's, seeing as he had a whole camping backpack. I just carried a school-sized backpack. He was always prepared. Even for vacations.

Nate took a shower, and I changed into my fluffy pajamas. He came out of the bathroom, drying his hair off with a towel and sat on the bed opposite of me. "I texted Sam a picture of that coin, if anyone knows what that coin means, its him," He tossed the towel across the room, and laid down.

I pulled the covers up and onto my body, letting out a sigh. I rolled over and pulled the lightswitch of the lamp. "Get some sleep, we can go get breakfast in the morning," Nathan told me, letting out a grunt as he laid down onto his side of the bed.

"Goodnight Nathan," I closed my eyes as I rolled onto my side.

"Goodnight Y/N," Nathan closed his eyes as well.

(im sorry if this was bad I just needed to get this started. I promise they will get better! the coin is below if you can see it)
